About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET), you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable, secure, and high-performing full-stack applications using .NET, React, Microsoft Azure, and SQL Server technologies. You will be a valued member of the application development team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing full-stack applications using C#, .NET, React, and SQL Server.
- Guide client managers and technical teams on application design, technical solutions, and technology advancements.
- Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development capabilities to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Design and implement basic AI-driven features, including chat-based interfaces and lightweight automation agents.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues by analyzing logs, monitoring application performance, and identifying problems across applications and infrastructure.
- Work proactively across technical and organizational boundaries to resolve critical application and production issues.

What you need to have to be considered
- 6+ years of overall software development experience, including hands-on full-stack application development.
- Strong development experience with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Hands-on experience developing modern front-end applications using React.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server in on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Experience developing and supporting serverless solutions using Azure Functions.
- Working experience with Azure DevOps and modern application development practices.
- Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted coding, testing, debugging, or troubleshooting.
- Experience analyzing application logs, monitoring performance, and resolving complex production issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to recommend and explain technical solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $60,000.00 and $95,000.00 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.
