About the role
As a Sr Consultant - Veeva Project Management, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end delivery of Veeva Vault implementations across Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, Safety, and Commercial domains for our Life Sciences clients. You will be a valued member of the Life Sciences Consulting team and work collaboratively with solution architects, configuration engineers, business analysts, validation engineers, QA, business stakeholders, and clients.
In this role, you will:
- Lead Veeva Vault project delivery: Own end-to-end planning, execution, governance, and delivery of Veeva Vault implementations, migrations, upgrades, and enhancements across RIM, Clinical (CTMS, eTMF, Study Startup), Quality (QMS, QualityDocs), Safety, PromoMats, and MedComms.
- Drive stakeholder alignment and cross-functional leadership: Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT, architects, configuration engineers, testers, validation teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication and effective delivery of Veeva solutions.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk: Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, effort estimates, RAID logs, and executive-level status reporting; proactively manage risks, issues, and change controls.
- Oversee solution design, configuration, and validation delivery: Coordinate requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, integrations, data migration, SIT, UAT, and validation testing in alignment with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP 5, and ALCOA+ principles.
- Ensure compliance, governance, and quality: Oversee validation documentation, change controls, audit readiness, and adherence to client SDLC and Computer System Validation (CSV) processes; support inspection and audit readiness activities.
- Consistently demonstrate the Cognizant Way to Lead, which means operating with Personal Leadership (building trust, collaboration, and inclusion), Organizational Leadership (driving vision and purpose, demonstrating a strategic and enterprise mindset, and creating and communicating a bold direction that inspires purpose), and Business Leadership (exemplifying client focus, managing ambiguity with accountability and results, and operating with financial acumen).
