Job Summary
Consulting Manager for a global enterprise focusing on payer domain responsible for guiding complex client engagements optimizing business processes and driving measurable outcomes in a hybrid work model. Role involves strategic consulting solution delivery and stakeholder collaboration during day shifts with no travel requirements impacting healthcare affordability and access.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end consulting engagements for payer clients by defining scope objectives and measurable outcomes that improve operational efficiency and member experience
- Manage consulting projects in the payer domain by coordinating cross functional teams to deliver business solutions on time and within agreed effort while following hybrid work practices
- Analyze current payer processes such as claims adjudication premium billing and member services to identify gaps and design improvements that reduce cycle times and error rates
- Develop detailed recommendations for payer clients that align with regulatory requirements and organizational strategy to support sustainable business growth and improved care access
- Collaborate with client stakeholders across business and technology functions to clarify requirements validate assumptions and enable smooth adoption of proposed solutions
- Facilitate structured workshops and review meetings during day shifts to gather insights communicate progress and support clear decision making for payer transformation initiatives
- Prepare well organized deliverables including business cases process maps and implementation plans that clearly articulate value drivers and success metrics for each engagement
- Guide junior consulting team members by providing task direction quality review and mentoring support to strengthen consulting capabilities and domain expertise in payer operations
- Coordinate with internal product and analytics teams in hybrid mode to design data driven recommendations that enhance cost management and quality of service for payer clients
- Monitor project risks and dependencies in payer programs and propose mitigation actions that safeguard timelines budgets and compliance obligations
- Support business development by contributing to proposals client presentations and solution narratives that showcase payer domain experience and proven consulting methods
- Apply structured problem solving techniques to complex payer challenges such as reimbursement models and provider contracting to deliver actionable insights that support organizational resilience
- Uphold company values by promoting ethical consulting practices and outcomes that advance equitable access to healthcare services and responsible use of financial resources
Qualifications
- Demonstrate eight to ten years of consulting experience with significant exposure to payer domain including claims management benefit design and member servicing
- Bring strong knowledge of healthcare regulations compliance expectations and payer industry trends translated into practical advisory guidance for client operations
- Show proficiency in business analysis process improvement and stakeholder communication with the ability to convert complex concepts into clear recommendations
- Exhibit experience working in hybrid delivery environments using collaboration tools and structured communication methods suitable for day shift operations
- Display competency in quantitative analysis and interpretation of payer data sets to support evidence based decision making and performance improvement initiatives
- Present prior experience in managing medium complexity consulting projects with responsibility for planning execution oversight and outcome tracking
