About the role
As a Senior Automation Test Engineer - Selenium & Playwright, you will make an impact by ensuring the quality and reliability of business applications through automation, API, and manual testing. You will collaborate with onshore and offshore development, product, and quality engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.
In this role, you will:
Maintain and execute automated end-to-end test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
Design comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.
Perform API, smoke, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
Maintain test results, coverage reports, regression suites, and other testing documentation.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore development and product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices.

What you need to have to be considered
7+ years of hands-on experience with automated functional testing using Selenium and Playwright.
Experience with API testing and validating service integrations.
Strong experience developing manual test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
Experience performing smoke, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Knowledge of defect management processes and the complete software testing lifecycle.
Ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed onshore and offshore teams.
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum delivery environment.
Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
These will help you stand out
Experience enhancing or improving test automation frameworks.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
Experience preparing test coverage reports and maintaining regression test suites.
Ability to balance automation and manual testing based on project requirements.
Experience working across multiple time zones in a global delivery model.
