Job Summary

Serve as a Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Wordpress and Drupal to architect develop and optimize secure scalable web solutions for global clients in a hybrid work environment. Apply experience in complex content management systems and finance and accounting domains to deliver stable platforms that advance business outcomes and long term digital strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design develop and optimize complex Wordpress and Drupal based applications that deliver secure scalable and resilient digital experiences for global stakeholders.
  • Architect reusable themes plugins and modules in Wordpress and Drupal that improve development efficiency while maintaining strict code quality and performance standards.
  • Integrate enterprise grade APIs and third party services into content management solutions to enable seamless data exchange and robust business workflows.
  • Review refactor and harden legacy Wordpress and Drupal implementations to reduce technical debt improve maintainability and increase platform reliability.
  • Implement rigorous security practices across all Wordpress and Drupal components to protect sensitive information and comply with internal controls and industry regulations.
  • Optimize front end rendering and backend processing for high traffic sites by tuning queries caching strategies and content delivery configurations.
  • Collaborate with product owners business analysts and architects to translate complex functional requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate with quality engineering teams to define test strategies support automation coverage and validate that new features meet acceptance criteria and non functional requirements.
  • Mentor engineering peers on content management best practices coding standards and debugging strategies to elevate overall team capability and consistency.
  • Partner with infrastructure and DevOps teams to refine deployment pipelines automate routine tasks and ensure reliable releases across development test and production environments.
  • Analyze production incidents perform root cause investigation and implement durable fixes that prevent recurrence and enhance long term system stability.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting domain experts when applicable to design solutions that align with compliance expectations and improve accuracy of financial data flows.
  • Document technical decisions solution architectures and operational runbooks so that hybrid teams can efficiently support and extend delivered platforms.


Qualifications

  • Apply extensive experience in Wordpress to build custom themes extend core capabilities and manage complex plugin ecosystems for enterprise deployments.
  • Use deep Drupal expertise to configure content types views custom modules and user permissions for large scale multisite environments.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in languages and frameworks commonly used with Wordpress and Drupal such as PHP relational databases and modern front end stacks.
  • Exhibit solid understanding of finance and accounting processes to design content and integration flows that support financial reporting and operational transparency.
  • Show proven experience with performance tuning caching strategies and monitoring tools that keep content management solutions responsive and observable.
  • Display strong communication and collaboration skills to operate effectively in hybrid teams and coordinate work with cross functional partners across time zones.
  • Apply disciplined engineering practices including version control code review and structured documentation to maintain high standards of quality and traceability.
