Summary:
We are seeking an Analyst to join our team and support APAC initiatives. The ideal candidate will support stakeholders in data analysis, across different data environments, business processes, and cross-functional stakeholders to support meaningful process and operational improvements.
In this analyst role, you will partner closely with business, technology, and regional stakeholders to support requirements definition, data analysis, reporting validation, and end-to-end process reviews. You will assist in the design and delivery of solutions that support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives that impact APAC Business Operations
Roles and responsibilities:
Serve as Analyst for APAC
• Elicit, analyze, document, and maintain business and functional requirements across APAC initiatives.
• Analyze business processes, data flows, and system interdependencies, acting as a liaison to support informed decision-making and prioritization.
Execute and Oversee Data Management and Analysis
• Perform analysis, validation, and issue resolution to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality.
• Write and execute use cases and support testing of system enhancements and data outputs.
Support Business Process Enablement and Operational Insights
• Translate findings into actionable insights to support business.
• Assist in identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
Provide Technical and Project Support
• Coordinate with SME’s and regional teams to support solution design and implementation.
Serve as Key Point of Contact and Knowledge Partner
• Act as initial point of contact and triaging of requirement clarification, queries, and issue resolution across APAC.
• Support stakeholder enablement through documentation, walkthroughs and basic training,
Support Controls, Reviews, and Continuous Improvement
• Prepare analysis artifacts and documentation for reviews and audits, as required.
• Track findings and support implementation of remediation and improvement actions.
Perform Other Duties as Assigned
• Undertake additional responsibilities aligned with business priorities and regional initiatives.
• Support ad hoc analysis and change activities as needed.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Information Technology, or a related field
Work Experience:
• 2+ years of related experience in insurance operations, business analysis, or data management
• Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Skills & Abilities (Behavioural/Qualification):
• Strong oral and written communication skills (Required, Advanced)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills (Required, Advanced)
• Ability to quickly adapt to new methods and work under tight deadlines (Required, Advanced)
• Strong interpersonal skills (Required, Advanced)
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders (Required, Advanced)
Technical Skills:
• Advanced data analysis skills (Required, Advanced)
• SQL query skills for data processing and analysis (Required, Intermediate)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Required, Advanced)
• Experience with data management/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, ETL, Python) (Preferred, Intermediate)
