Job Title: Sitecore Content Hub Engineer

About the Job

The Sitecore Content Hub Developer is a member of a cross-functional Agile squad responsible for implementing and supporting enterprise Content Hub solutions (DAM/MAM, PIM/CCM, content modelling and distribution). This developer communicates effectively across teams, translates business requirements into Content Hub models and integrations, and applies strong engineering practices (clean code, security, scalable architecture). The ideal candidate combines hands-on Content Hub experience (Content Hub Assets/Models/Workflows), integration experience with Stream and Connect, and strong API/.NET development skills.

Your Responsibilities

· Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to understand requirements, design Content Hub solutions, and implement specifications.

· Design and implement Content Hub data models, taxonomies, life cycles, workflows, renditions, and metadata schemas to support editorial and marketing requirements.

· Build and extend Sitecore Content Hub using the Content Hub SDK, REST, and GraphQL APIs, CLI, and configuration tooling.

· Implement and support Content Hub Stream solutions for event-driven processing, automated asset pipelines, and real-time integrations.

· Implement and maintain Content Hub Connect integrations and connectors (Sitecore XP/XM, CMS, PIM, commerce, MDM, DAM, external storage/CDN, CRM/ERP).

· Build secure, robust integrations using Connectors, webhooks, message queues, and middleware (Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, etc.).

· Develop custom modules, custom plugins, and server-side logic using C#/.NET and the Content Hub SDK.

· Architect APIs and integration patterns (REST/GraphQL) for third-party systems and front ends to ingest, discover, and deliver content and assets.

· Lead migration and ingestion activities for large asset libraries (bulk import, mapping, metadata enrichment, validation).

· Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure optimized asset delivery (renditions, responsive images, caching, CDN).

· Apply quality and non-functional requirements: scalability, performance, security (OWASP), and availability.

· Create and maintain documentation for solution designs, deployment runbooks, integration guides, and migration plans.

· Mentor and coach junior engineers through design reviews and code reviews, share best practices for Content Hub development.

  • Identify risks early, propose mitigations and contribute technical leadership to the squad.

Skills and Expertise

· 6+ years of software development experience for enterprise applications (object-oriented design, distributed systems, web services).

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Sitecore Content Hub (modeling, assets, workflows, metadata, renditions).

· Demonstrable experience implementing Content Hub Stream (event processing, asset pipelines) and Content Hub Connect (connectors/integrations).

· Strong development skills in C# / .NET, ASP.NET Web API / MVC, and experience using the Content Hub SDK and CLI.

· Solid experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and designing integration patterns.

· Experience with content and asset migration tools and techniques (bulk import, mapping, ETL).

· Familiarity with content modeling concepts: entities, relationships, taxonomies, vocabularies, and lifecycle/workflow design.

· Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern front-end build tooling to collaborate with front-end teams.

· Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code.

· Working knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server) and search/index technologies.

· Experience with source control (Git, TFS) and Agile development practices (Scrum).

· Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

· Experience integrating Content Hub with Sitecore XP/XM, Sitecore Experience Edge, or Sitecore Headless solutions (JSS).

· Experience with CDNs, cloud object storage (S3/Azure Blob), image/video processing pipelines, and transcode services.

· Familiarity with message brokers and streaming platforms (Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Kafka).

· Experience with enterprise connector ecosystems (Salesforce, SAP, Adobe, commercetools, or similar).

· Experience with automated testing frameworks, performance tuning, and profiling for asset-heavy workloads.

· Prior exposure to Adobe / other DAMs and migration experience into Sitecore Content Hub.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Personal Attributes

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; pragmatic and solution-oriented.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced Agile environment.

· Passion for building robust, maintainable systems and improving developer experience.
