About the role
As a Principal Integration Architect, you will make an impact by driving integration architecture, solution design, and delivery of large-scale managed file transfer (MFT) and EDI transformation programs across complex enterprise landscapes. You will be a valued member of the Integration & Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with program stakeholders, client leadership, delivery teams, and cross-functional architects.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end integration architecture and solution design for large-scale MFT and EDI implementations

  • Drive program execution including planning, delivery governance, and stakeholder management across multi-platform environments

  • Design and develop transformation solutions using IBM ITX/WTX for complex integration scenarios

  • Oversee API development and testing using REST services and tools such as Postman

  • Ensure high-performance, reliable integrations across Unix/Linux environments using structured data formats (JSON, XML, IDOC)

  • What you need to have to be considered

  • 15+ years of experience in MFT integration across multi-platform enterprise environments

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ITX/WTX

  • 10+ years of experience in integration architecture and solutioning

  • 10+ years of project/program management experience

  • Strong expertise in REST APIs and testing tools such as Postman (6+ years)

  • Deep knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI standards (8+ years)

  • Experience working with JSON, XML, and IDOC data formats (10+ years)

  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments

These will help you stand out

  • Domain expertise in Logistics and Supply Chain ecosystems

  • Experience with Order Management and Warehouse Management systems

  • Understanding of invoicing and financial transaction workflows

  • Exposure to enterprise modernization or migration programs

  • Strong stakeholder communication and client engagement skills


Work model: On site in Alpharetta, GA

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
