We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary: Serve as an Infra Technology Specialist focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Linux and Oracle database administration design implementing and optimizing resilient hybrid environments that align with enterprise standards enhance platform reliability and safeguard critical data assets for business continuity and sustainable innovation.
Responsibilities
· Design scalable and secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure architectures that align with enterprise standards and support highly available and resilient business applications
· Implement robust OCI networking components including virtual cloud networks subnets gateways and connectivity to ensure reliable hybrid integration with on premises systems
· Configure optimize and maintain Linux based servers in OCI and on premises environments to support consistent performance security and operational stability for critical workloads
· Administer Oracle databases by planning installations performing upgrades and managing configurations that ensure optimal performance storage efficiency and operational resilience
· Perform proactive database performance tuning by analyzing queries indexes and resource utilization to minimize latency improve throughput and maintain predictable response times
· Develop implement and refine backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases ensuring protection of critical data and enabling swift restoration during unplanned incidents or failures
· Create maintain and validate disaster recovery procedures for OCI Linux and Oracle database components to reduce recovery time objectives and maintain business service continuity
· Automate routine infrastructure and database administration tasks using scripts and orchestration tools to reduce manual effort minimize human error and improve operational consistency
· Monitor system health capacity and performance across OCI Linux and Oracle database layers using enterprise monitoring platforms to identify issues early and drive corrective actions
· Collaborate with application teams security teams and infrastructure peers to design solutions that balance performance resilience compliance needs and long term maintainability
· Document architecture configurations standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge sharing and consistent operations across hybrid environments
· Provide advanced technical support during incidents and problem investigations analyzing root causes and implementing permanent fixes that enhance platform stability and user satisfaction
· Guide cross functional stakeholders on OCI Linux and Oracle database best practices so that platform decisions directly support strategic business outcomes and responsible technology usage
Qualifications
· 5 - 7 years of experience with Linux,Oracle DB Admin, AWS Public Cloud Admin. HybridCloudManagedServices
· Showcase strong hands on experience designing and operating Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services including compute storage networking identity and security components for complex enterprises
· Demonstrate deep practical proficiency in Linux administration including system installation patching user management filesystem tuning and service hardening in production environments
· Exhibit extensive Oracle database administration experience including installation configuration backup and recovery performance tuning and capacity planning for mission critical systems
· Apply solid understanding of hybrid cloud patterns migration approaches and connectivity options to help organizations transition workloads into OCI while maintaining operational continuity
· Use practical knowledge of scripting and automation tools to streamline deployment configuration and monitoring activities for both infrastructure and database components
· Display familiarity with security principles compliance expectations and data protection practices across OCI Linux and Oracle database platforms to help safeguard sensitive information Value clear communication collaborative problem solving and structured documentation practices to support hybrid work models and enable efficient coordination across distributed
