Job Summary
Test analyst role focused on end to end quality assurance for network centric solutions in a global organization performing QEA transformation tasks validating data flows and testing application interfaces through well designed API test scenarios while collaborating with distributed teams in a day shift work from home model to assure reliable and secure customer experiences across markets.
Responsibilities
- Execute test analysis activities for network focused applications by reviewing functional documents user stories and data mappings to derive detailed test scenarios that ensure accurate coverage of business and technical requirements for each release cycle.
- Design and maintain reusable test cases for QEA transformation initiatives by capturing clear preconditions test data needs and stepwise validations that support consistent execution and measurable improvement in overall test maturity.
- Develop and run data testing procedures by profiling input sources validating transformation logic and verifying target data sets so that key metrics reference values and relationships remain accurate across integrated environments.
- Perform API testing using appropriate tools by constructing positive and negative request combinations validating response codes and payload content and checking header and parameter behavior to assure robust service interactions.
- Prepare and manage structured test data for network centric scenarios by creating representative datasets masking sensitive information and aligning inputs with real usage patterns to reduce production defects and rework.
- Execute test cases across system integration and regression test cycles in a day shift work from home model by following agreed timelines logging results diligently and escalating blockers early to keep delivery on schedule.
- Record defects with clear reproduction steps environment details and impact descriptions while collaborating with developers and network engineers to clarify root causes and validate timely fixes that enhance system reliability.
- Contribute to QEA transformation activities by adopting standard frameworks templates and automation friendly practices that raise test consistency improve traceability and support continuous improvement in quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross functional colleagues through remote meetings and documented updates by clarifying requirements reviewing test coverage and aligning on acceptance criteria that reflect both business expectations and network specific constraints.
- Monitor and report test progress by updating daily status highlighting risk areas and summarizing defect trends so that project stakeholders can make informed decisions on readiness and release scope adjustments.
- Apply domain knowledge of network concepts such as connectivity behavior latency patterns and routing impacts during test design and execution to identify issues that would affect performance availability and end user experience.
- Document clear test evidence including screenshots logs sample payloads and data extracts so audit trails remain complete and teams can reuse information for impact analysis knowledge sharing and future test optimization.
- Support continuous improvement by reflecting on test outcomes proposing changes to data coverage or API checks and assisting in standardization efforts that strengthen quality engineering across the enterprise portfolio.
Qualifications
- Possess professional experience of one to two years in a test analyst capacity working on structured quality assurance activities where responsibility included test design execution and defect documentation for software solutions.
- Demonstrate hands on exposure to QEA transformation practices by working with standardized test assets measurement of quality metrics and adoption of improved test workflows that support enterprise level quality goals.
- Show proven experience as a data tester with skills in validating source to target mappings checking transformation rules and confirming the integrity completeness and consistency of critical business data across systems.
- Exhibit practical competence in API testing using widely adopted tools and methods with the ability to create requests analyze responses and verify functional and non functional aspects of service interfaces.
- Apply sound understanding of network related concepts such as network topology basics bandwidth and latency considerations and typical failure modes to design realistic test cases for network dependent applications.
- Demonstrate familiarity with collaborative work in a remote or work from home setup using digital communication channels and agile inspired practices to coordinate effectively with engineering and business partners.
- Display strong analytical thinking attention to detail and clear written communication so that test documentation defect reports and status updates are easy to interpret and support quicker resolution and decision making.
Certifications Required
ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent software testing certification preferred for test analyst profile.
