Location: Hybrid Role in Columbus, GA

Experience: 12+ Years

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000/Year to $140,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex OpenText Exstream applications aligned to business and client requirements.

    · Lead and define the CCM roadmap including version upgrades and cloud-native implementations on hyperscalers.

    · Drive legacy migration projects from platforms such as Calligo / Documerge / Quadient to OpenText Exstream.

    · Manage high-volume delivery modules including sorting, bundling, inserters, and barcode handling.

    · Install, configure, and manage the Exstream cloud-native product suite in cloud environments.

    · Integrate Exstream with upstream and downstream systems; manage campaign outputs and web services.

    · Lead client and team interactions; act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications

    · 12+ years total IT experience with 10+ years on OpenText Exstream (Primary); Quadient Inspire knowledge required (Secondary).

    · Deep expertise in Exstream Cloud Native and implementation on hyperscaler platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

    · Proficiency across Exstream modules: Design Manager, Designer, Empower Editor, Content Author, Communication Designer, and Orchestration.

    · Strong experience in Exstream advanced features: advanced tables/charts, business rules/functions, multiple input formats, section data mapping, and Exstream web services.

    · Experience with high-volume delivery modules: sorting & bundling, inserters, barcodes, and campaign management.

    · Experience in Exstream version upgrade projects and legacy CCM migration projects.

    · Expertise in integrating Exstream with upstream/downstream systems; knowledge of messaging queues desirable.

    · Knowledge of other CCM tools (xPression, Oracle Documaker) and scripting languages; Mainframe experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design end to end customer communication architectures using Quadient Inspire Interactive and Quadient Inspire that align with enterprise standards and long term scalability goals
  • Develop robust solution blueprints for batch and interactive communications that ensure high availability performance and maintainability across diverse business lines
  • Coordinate with business analysts and product teams to translate complex communication requirements into detailed Quadient Inspire design specifications that are easy to implement and support
  • Implement governance practices for template design versioning and deployment so that communication assets remain consistent reusable and compliant across all regions
  • Optimize existing Quadient Inspire templates and workflows by analyzing performance metrics and user feedback in order to increase throughput and reduce processing errors
  • Guide development teams on best practices for scripting data mapping and content logic within Quadient Inspire Interactive so that solutions remain robust and secure
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and middleware teams to design integration patterns between Quadient Inspire platforms and core systems such as CRM billing and data warehouses
  • Establish coding and configuration standards for Quadient Inspire assets that reduce technical debt and simplify future enhancements and cross platform migrations
  • Review solution designs and configuration changes for alignment with architecture principles regulatory expectations and information security policies
  • Create detailed technical documentation including data flow diagrams template catalogs and deployment guides to support ongoing operations and knowledge transfer
  • Partner with quality assurance teams to define test strategies for communication templates ensuring accurate data rendering language support and channel specific formatting
  • Analyze production incidents related to Quadient Inspire solutions identify root causes and recommend architectural improvements that enhance stability and customer satisfaction
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers on Quadient Inspire concepts configuration patterns and troubleshooting approaches to build internal capability and reduce dependency on external support
  • Coordinate activities across hybrid work settings by using collaboration tools and structured ceremonies that maintain productivity and clarity for distributed teams
  • Align solution decisions with sustainability and efficiency objectives by designing communication processes that reduce paper usage and support digital engagement for customers


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate extensive hands on experience of at least ten years in designing and delivering solutions with Quadient Inspire Interactive and Quadient Inspire across large scale environments
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in data modeling data transformation and document composition concepts that are essential for complex customer correspondence and regulatory communications
  • Apply solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns to connect Quadient Inspire platforms with upstream and downstream systems using standard interfaces and secure data exchange methods
  • Use practical knowledge of software development lifecycle practices including version control peer review and automated deployment to ensure reliable and traceable template releases
  • Show capability to analyze non functional requirements such as performance resilience and capacity planning in order to design architectures that handle large communication volumes
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non technical stakeholders by explaining design choices architectural constraints and risk trade offs in an accessible and concise manner
  • Display familiarity with customer experience principles and omnichannel communication strategies so that Quadient Inspire solutions contribute meaningfully to engaging and inclusive interactions


Certifications Required

Quadient Inspire Certified Professional or equivalent certification in Quadient Inspire technologies is required.
