About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack with strong Full Stack development experience to support and enhance enterprise applications serving customers, dealers, and internal business users. In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications.
  • Build Full Stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • Support application enhancements, upgrades, and production releases.
  • Develop and optimize solutions using Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Work with Azure cloud technologies and modern development practices.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and resolve application issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Research and recommend new technologies and improvements.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 6+ years of Full Stack development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular.
  • Experience with Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Application modernization or upgrade experience.
  • Experience with cloud-native applications.
  • Agile development experience.

Canadian Pay Transparency Statement

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $ 70,000 – 114,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
