Job Summary

Sr Developer role in a hybrid day shift model focusing on designing building and optimizing enterprise applications using Kafka Bootstrap and Camunda BPM while applying robust engineering practices. The role drives scalable event driven solutions intuitive user interfaces and efficient process automation that support asset and wealth management initiatives and deliver measurable business value.


Responsibilities

  • Design highly scalable event driven services using Kafka that enable reliable data streaming across critical enterprise applications and directly support key business workflows in asset and wealth management.
  • Develop and enhance responsive front end interfaces using Bootstrap that provide intuitive user experiences for internal and external stakeholders and improve operational efficiency across advisory and investment processes.
  • Implement and optimize business workflows using Camunda BPM by modeling complex processes configuring rules and managing task lifecycles to reduce manual effort and improve straight through processing.
  • Collaborate with architects and product teams to refine technical solutions that align with hybrid work practices and day shift collaboration windows while ensuring consistent delivery quality across distributed teams.
  • Integrate Kafka based messaging layers with existing application ecosystems to enable secure data exchange improve system decoupling and support future expansion of digital channels and analytics platforms.
  • Optimize application performance by profiling services tuning Kafka configurations refining Bootstrap components and streamlining Camunda BPM workflows to meet demanding latency and throughput requirements.
  • Apply secure coding practices and compliance mindful design to all Kafka pipelines user interfaces and workflow implementations to support regulatory expectations common in asset and wealth management environments.
  • Mentor junior developers on best practices for Kafka patterns Bootstrap layout strategies and Camunda BPM modeling techniques to raise overall engineering standards and support sustainable project delivery.
  • Coordinate with operations and support teams to analyze incidents related to event flows user interface behaviors and workflow execution while delivering well tested fixes that minimize disruption to business users.
  • Document solution architectures Kafka topic strategies Bootstrap component libraries and Camunda BPM process definitions in clear technical materials that facilitate maintainability and knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure robust modular implementations that can be evolved in hybrid working conditions without impacting stability or service levels.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to event streaming patterns front end frameworks and workflow automation capabilities that align with strategic transformation goals.
  • Coordinate application releases with stakeholders to deploy Kafka Bootstrap and Camunda BPM changes in controlled day shift windows that reduce risk and preserve uninterrupted service for clients and advisors.

    • Qualifications

  • Demonstrate extensive hands on experience in designing and implementing event driven applications using Kafka including topic design consumer group management and message serialization strategies gained over at least ten years of development work.
  • Exhibit strong skills in creating responsive accessible and maintainable user interfaces using Bootstrap including grid systems component customization and cross browser considerations within large enterprise projects.
  • Show proven proficiency in Camunda BPM including process modeling configuration of task lifecycles usage of decision models and integration with application services to deliver reliable workflow automation.
  • Apply solid understanding of microservices integration patterns testing approaches and continuous integration practices to support complex distributed solutions in hybrid work settings.
  • Utilize practical exposure to asset and wealth management concepts such as portfolio servicing advisory workflows and client reporting to design solutions that reflect real industry processes where relevant.
  • Demonstrate advanced problem solving abilities and clear communication skills that enable close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders during design development testing and release activities.
  • Display familiarity with secure development guidelines audit friendly logging practices and observability tools that are essential in regulated financial services environments and large multinational organizations.

    • Certifications Required

    Preferred certifications include Kafka certification from Confluent or similar and Camunda BPM practitioner certification.
