Job Summary

Serve as a principal architect specializing in Snowflake data platforms designing secure and scalable intelligence solutions that enable high value analytics across the enterprise. Collaborate with diverse product and business teams in a hybrid work model to transform complex data into trusted insights driving innovation efficiency and meaningful impact on customers and society.


Responsibilities

  • Design end to end Snowflake based data architectures that enable secure scalable and performant analytics solutions aligned with enterprise strategies and long term business objectives.
  • Define robust patterns for Snowflake Intelligence including data modeling data sharing and governance that streamline insight generation and accelerate decision making across stakeholder groups.
  • Architect efficient Snowflake SQL solutions that optimize query performance reduce compute costs and ensure consistent response times for mission critical analytical workloads.
  • Implement and refine Snowflake Streams designs that support reliable change data capture near real time data movement and seamless integration with downstream analytical applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners data engineers and analysts to translate complex business requirements into practical Snowflake platform designs that deliver measurable outcomes and operational improvements.
  • Establish architecture standards guidelines and review processes that maintain high quality implementations across Snowflake projects while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory expectations.
  • Provide technical oversight on hybrid delivery activities by guiding teams through design reviews code reviews and performance tuning sessions focused on Snowflake workloads.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the Snowflake ecosystem by evaluating new platform capabilities recommending adoption strategies and mentoring teams on best practices for sustainable usage.
  • Coordinate with enterprise architects and infrastructure teams to align Snowflake implementations with broader data platform roadmaps ensuring interoperability resilience and efficient resource utilization.
  • Document architectural decisions patterns and reference implementations in clear reusable artifacts that enable consistent delivery and onboarding of new teams to Snowflake solutions.
  • Guide troubleshooting for complex Snowflake incidents by analyzing query behavior data flows and configuration settings to restore service quickly and prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to demonstrate how Snowflake intelligence solutions can unlock new revenue opportunities improve operational efficiency and contribute to positive societal outcomes through better data driven services.
  • Support governance forums by presenting architectural recommendations risk assessments and improvement plans that strengthen trust in enterprise data and analytics.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate extensive hands on expertise in Snowflake Intelligence including advanced data modeling performance optimization security controls and collaborative data sharing capabilities.
  • Possess strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL with the ability to design complex queries optimize execution plans and build reusable components that simplify data access for analytical users.
  • Show proven experience configuring and managing Snowflake Streams for change data capture event driven processing and reliable integration with modern data pipelines.
  • Bring solid background in modern data warehousing and cloud data platforms with the capacity to compare architectural options and recommend solutions that balance cost scalability and maintainability.
  • Exhibit strong experience in hybrid work environments collaborating effectively with distributed teams using structured communication documentation and remote friendly design practices.
  • Apply sound knowledge of data security and privacy principles within Snowflake including role based access controls encryption strategies and compliant handling of sensitive information.
