Responsibilities
Job Summary
A skilled Power Automate Desktop Developer to design, build, and maintain robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that streamline manual, repetitive business processes. The candidate must have hands-on experience automating desktop and web-based applications using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop, integrating with Power Platform tools, and delivering scalable automation solutions across departments. Candidate is expected to have experience leading automation development teams and performing code review activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA workflows using Power Automate Desktop (PAD)
- Build both attended and unattended automation flows for desktop, web, and legacy applications
- Integrate Power Automate Desktop flows with Power Automate Cloud flows for end-to-end automation
- Work with UI automation, image recognition, and OCR to handle complex application interactions
- Automate tasks involving Excel, Outlook, SAP, browser-based apps, and other enterprise systems
- Configure and manage triggers, schedules, and error-handling/exception logic within flows
- Deploy and manage automation via Power Automate gateways and machine groups
- Monitor flow performance, troubleshoot failures, and optimize existing automations
- Document process workflows, technical designs, and support/maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and end users to ensure solutions meet requirements
- Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and RPA best practices
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for deployed bots
- Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop), Power BI, Dataverse.
- Strong technical skills, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
