Job Summary
Consult as a specialized analyst within finance and accounting to solve complex business problems optimize processes and deliver measurable value for global clients in a hybrid work model using strong analytical capabilities and domain expertise to design practical recommendations that improve financial integrity operational efficiency and strategic decision making across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex finance and accounting processes for global clients and recommend targeted improvements that enhance accuracy compliance and efficiency in daily operations.
- Develop detailed business requirements and functional specifications for finance and accounting initiatives ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and validate finance solutions that improve reporting transparency control robustness and end to end process performance.
- Evaluate current financial systems and data flows to identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort while maintaining data quality and audit readiness.
- Prepare structured analysis deliverables such as process maps gap assessments and recommendation summaries that guide client decision making and implementation planning.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with finance stakeholders to elicit pain points prioritize solution options and drive consensus on the proposed approach.
- Support implementation of finance and accounting solutions by coordinating testing activities tracking issues and confirming that configured outcomes meet defined business needs.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to finance operations and provide insights that help clients continuously refine processes policies and controls.
- Document standard operating procedures and guidance for finance teams so that new practices are adopted consistently and sustained over time.
- Advise on the practical impacts of regulatory and policy changes on finance processes and help clients adapt controls and workflows to remain compliant.
- Provide structured knowledge transfer to client finance teams by creating clear materials and delivering sessions that build internal capability and confidence.
- Contribute to consulting practice assets by capturing lessons learned templates and methods that can be reused to improve future finance and accounting engagements.
- Demonstrate accountability for project timelines and quality by managing own work plan and proactively communicating risks and dependencies to project managers.
Qualifications
- Bring five to seven years of hands on experience in finance and accounting processes such as general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable closing and reporting.
- Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to interpret financial data identify root causes of process issues and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Use working knowledge of finance systems or enterprise resource planning platforms to support requirement definition configuration validation and user adoption.
- Show familiarity with accounting standards and compliance expectations to ensure that recommended changes maintain financial integrity and regulatory alignment.
- Demonstrate clear and concise communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels and translate complex finance concepts into actionable guidance.
