Job Summary
The Technical Lead role focuses on designing and implementing robust SAP Security solutions to protect organizational assets and data integrity. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model to ensure the security framework aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence and innovation while enhancing the overall cybersecurity posture of the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of SAP Security strategies that safeguard critical business applications and data integrity.
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of SAP Security roles and authorizations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze security requirements and translate them into effective SAP Security solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP Security best practices to enhance system protection against unauthorized access and potential vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments within SAP environments to identify risks and implement mitigation measures promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Security issues by applying advanced technical knowledge and practical problem-solving techniques.
- Manage the integration of SAP Security tools and technologies to strengthen overall security architecture and streamline access management processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for SAP Security processes by staying updated with emerging trends and regulatory changes in cybersecurity.
- Coordinate with IT and compliance teams to ensure SAP Security practices meet internal controls audit requirements and external regulatory guidelines.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and training programs to elevate team capabilities in SAP Security management and execution.
- Monitor and report on SAP Security metrics and performance indicators to provide visibility into security posture and improvements made.
- Support incident response activities related to SAP Security by analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Advocate for secure coding and configuration standards during SAP application development and customization efforts to reduce security risks.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience specifically in SAP Security design configuration and administration within enterprise environments.
- Possess advanced technical skills in SAP Security components including role design user provisioning access controls and segregation of duties frameworks.
- Exhibit good understanding of cybersecurity principles identity and access management and compliance requirements relevant to SAP ecosystems.
- Have hands-on experience with SAP GRC including risk analysis access request management and compliance reporting tools.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment with the ability to efficiently balance remote collaboration and onsite presence.
- Be available to work the day shift ensuring alignment with operational and project schedules without the need for business travel.
- Demonstrate proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Have good to have knowledge of related ERP modules and integration points affecting SAP Security to provide comprehensive risk assessments.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills to address evolving security threats and adapt SAP Security configurations accordingly.
- Maintain fluency in English as a primary working language to support global collaboration and documentation standards.
- Show commitment to professional development and keeping current with SAP Security updates patches and industry best practices.
- Be familiar with IT service management frameworks to facilitate efficient incident and change management related to security aspects.
- Adapt well to shifting priorities and project demands within a dynamic multinational organizational context.
Certifications Required
Certification in SAP Security or SAP GRC or equivalent credentials in cybersecurity or access management.
