Job Summary : This hybrid role as a senior functional analyst in the integrated services group focuses on designing configuring and optimizing IBM Sterling order management solutions to support complex omnichannel commerce. The position requires seven to nine years of experience translating business requirements into scalable Sterling OMS functions ensuring system stability high order accuracy and seamless integration with enterprise applications to enhance customer experience and business efficiency. 3. Responsibilities : - Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze omnichannel order fulfillment needs and translate them into detailed functional designs within IBM Sterling order management solutions that support accurate and efficient processing of complex order lifecycles. - Configure core IBM Sterling OMS features to support order capture inventory visibility sourcing rules and customer service workflows while ensuring that functional behavior aligns with agreed business policies and service level targets. - Design functional specifications for Sterling OMS integrations with upstream and downstream enterprise systems such as commerce platforms payment services and warehouse applications to maintain consistent data flows and transaction integrity. - Review existing Sterling OMS configurations and functional rules to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities then propose targeted enhancements that improve order throughput reduce exceptions and raise customer satisfaction. - Partner with technical teams to validate that Sterling OMS administrative settings environment parameters and deployment configurations reflect intended functional behavior and can scale for peak transaction volumes. - Develop and maintain detailed functional documentation including configuration decisions order process flows exception handling rules and service level assumptions to support future enhancements and audits. - Support day to day operations by analyzing production issues related to Sterling OMS functionality performing root cause assessments and defining corrective changes that minimize recurrence and business disruption. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define functional test scenarios data sets and acceptance criteria for Sterling OMS changes ensuring that validation covers end to end order flows and critical edge cases. - Conduct impact assessments for proposed business changes or new initiatives evaluating how adjustments to pricing promotions fulfillment models or partner integrations will affect Sterling OMS configurations and performance. - Guide business users through system demonstrations and functional walk through sessions explaining how IBM Sterling OMS features support their workflows and gathering feedback for continuous improvement of order management capabilities. - Monitor key performance indicators related to Sterling OMS such as order cycle time backlog rates and exception trends and recommend functional tuning activities that support strategic objectives and operational targets. - Coordinate with infrastructure and middleware teams to ensure that Sterling OMS workloads in the hybrid environment are aligned with capacity planning environment maintenance schedules and application upgrade strategies. - Drive adherence to governance standards by ensuring that all Sterling OMS functional changes follow established change management processes documentation requirements and compliance controls to protect data quality and auditability. -Qualifications - Possess extensive experience as a functional analyst working with IBM Sterling order management systems including hands on exposure to Sterling OMS administration tasks configuration management and functional troubleshooting over several years. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of IBM Sterling features across order capture inventory control sourcing logic and service workflows with the ability to describe relevant use cases and optimize configurations for complex omnichannel operations. - Bring practical experience working on hybrid delivery models that combine onsite and remote collaboration using structured communication and documentation practices to ensure alignment across distributed teams. - Show proficiency in analyzing business requirements creating detailed functional specifications and partnering with technical and quality assurance colleagues to deliver reliable Sterling OMS solutions that meet defined objectives. - Exhibit familiarity with enterprise integration concepts for order management including messaging data mapping and error handling enabling effective coordination with integration specialists to maintain stable ecosystem connections. - Display strong problem solving and diagnostic skills applied to production order management issues using data analysis and systematic approaches to resolve functional defects and propose preventive enhancements. 9.
