Job Summary
The Sr Analyst will apply deep experience in BPMN Jira and portfolio and project management to design and optimize complex business processes for global clients in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on translating business needs into structured workflows improving delivery predictability and ensuring alignment between business and technology teams across property and casualty insurance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit analyze and document complex process requirements using BPMN standards to create clear and actionable models that guide implementation teams -Translate business objectives into detailed process flows and user journeys that improve operational efficiency and reduce cycle times across critical functions -Develop and maintain BPMN diagrams that reflect current and future state processes ensuring traceability between requirements workflows and acceptance criteria -Configure and manage Jira projects including workflows issue types fields and boards to support portfolio and project management activities for multiple teams -Define and optimize portfolio and project management practices by establishing prioritization frameworks tracking key metrics and enabling transparent progress reporting for decision makers -Partner with technology and business teams to refine backlogs groom user stories and manage dependencies in Jira ensuring that work items align with strategic objectives and release timelines -Conduct impact analysis and gap assessments for process changes identifying risks constraints and improvement opportunities while proposing pragmatic solutions based on data and stakeholder feedback -Prepare and deliver comprehensive documentation including process maps requirement specifications and status reports that enable consistent understanding across distributed teams in a hybrid work environment -Facilitate workshops discovery sessions and sprint ceremonies to clarify requirements validate process designs and ensure shared understanding of outcomes among cross functional participants -Monitor day to day execution of processes and projects by analyzing data from Jira and other tools to identify bottlenecks quality issues and improvement opportunities that support continuous optimization -Coordinate with quality and compliance partners to ensure that designed processes align with internal standards and regulatory expectations particularly for engagements in property and casualty insurance contexts -Mentor junior analysts by sharing best practices in BPMN modeling Jira usage and portfolio and project management techniques to improve team capability and delivery consistency -Engage with clients and internal sponsors to communicate progress gather feedback and refine solutions that contribute to the organizations purpose of delivering reliable and efficient services to society -Qualifications - Possess extensive hands on experience in BPMN based process modeling and analysis with a proven track record of delivering accurate and maintainable workflow documentation for complex programs - Demonstrate advanced proficiency configuring and using Jira for requirement management workflow orchestration backlog grooming and reporting across multiple projects and teams - Apply strong portfolio and project management skills to manage scope schedule risk and stakeholder expectations while ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and measurable business outcomes - Bring solid understanding of software development and implementation lifecycles including agile and hybrid approaches with the ability to adapt process design to various delivery models - Utilize excellent analytical and problem solving abilities to interpret data identify patterns and propose actionable improvements that enhance customer and business value - Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms with diverse audiences including business users technical teams and senior stakeholders enabling mutual understanding and timely decisions - Draw on prior exposure to property and casualty insurance operations such as policy administration claims and billing to design processes that reflect industry practices and regulatory considerations - Collaborate effectively in a hybrid work model by using digital collaboration tools maintaining structured documentation and ensuring consistent communication across onsite and remote participants - Adapt to changing priorities and evolving requirements while maintaining a structured approach to process governance issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
