As a Lead Engineer - ServiceNow Solutions, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting innovative technology solutions on the ServiceNow platform that enable business success across the organization. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow Solutions Team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, architects, developers, project managers, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze business and system requirements to design and implement effective ServiceNow solutions across multiple business functions.
- Lead the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.
- Drive technical projects by coordinating efforts, assigning tasks, mentoring team members, and ensuring successful delivery.
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow capabilities using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, UI Builder, and custom scoped applications.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions, best practices, and methodologies to improve platform performance and business outcomes.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in ServiceNow development, administration, and solution delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience developing with JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as GRC/IRM and Service Portal development.
- Expertise in integrations using REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Integration Hub, and related technologies.
- Experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, Configurable Workspace, Now Experience Framework, Flow Designer, and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, manage complex issues independently, and deliver projects on time with high quality.
- Flexibility to occasionally work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call support responsibilities.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- ServiceNow GRC/IRM certification or demonstrated expertise in governance, risk, and compliance solutions.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, HRSD, or Customer Service Management.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across development teams.
- Knowledge of project planning, software testing, system validation, and Agile development methodologies.
