Job Summary
This hybrid day shift role seeks a seasoned software engineer with seven to eight years of experience specializing in integration and JavaScript for a multinational organization. The engineer will design build and enhance scalable integration solutions and front end components that support complex enterprise systems. Experience in airline domain processes is highly valued to create efficient digital journeys that improve customer experiences and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust integration solutions that reliably connect enterprise applications and services to enable seamless data flow across the organization.
- Develop clean and efficient JavaScript components that power responsive user interfaces and ensure consistent behavior across modern browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with product and architecture teams to translate business requirements into scalable integration patterns and maintainable JavaScript code structures.
- Optimize existing integration workflows by analyzing performance bottlenecks and applying targeted enhancements that improve throughput and system stability.
- Create reusable JavaScript modules and utilities that simplify complex client side logic and reduce future development effort for cross functional teams.
- Configure and maintain integration frameworks and middleware platforms to support secure data exchange and standardized messaging across systems.
- Document integration designs and JavaScript implementation details in a clear and comprehensive manner that supports knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents related to integrations and front end behaviors by applying systematic debugging and root cause analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test scenarios for integrations and JavaScript features and support automated testing strategies that improve release confidence.
- Apply secure coding practices to integration endpoints and JavaScript code to safeguard sensitive data and align with enterprise security standards.
- Support hybrid work collaboration by using digital tools that enable effective communication and coordination with distributed stakeholders during the day shift.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing integration and JavaScript enhancements that reduce operational cost and improve user satisfaction.
- Align development activities with company goals that focus on creating reliable digital services and positive societal impact through efficient technology solutions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate advanced experience in integration design and implementation using enterprise grade platforms and patterns that support high volume transactional workloads.
- Apply strong JavaScript proficiency to create modular and testable code that delivers intuitive interfaces and consistent user experiences.
- Utilize knowledge of airline domain concepts such as booking flows and operational processes to design integrations and features that reflect real world scenarios.
- Show experience in hybrid work environments by managing tasks independently while maintaining regular collaboration with onsite and remote colleagues.
- Exhibit solid understanding of software engineering practices including version control code review and documentation that sustain long term system health.
- Employ effective communication skills to explain integration logic and JavaScript decisions to technical and nontechnical partners in a structured and respectful manner.
- Display familiarity with modern tooling for integration and front end development that enhances productivity and supports continuous delivery pipelines.
