Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior React JS Developer / Front-End Lead to lead the end-to-end design and development of complex React applications supporting investment products and operational workflows for global banking clients.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in React JS, JavaScript, front-end architecture, performance optimization, API integration, testing, and secure development practices. Experience within Investment Banking, Brokerage, Trading, or Settlement operations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design and development of complex React JS applications supporting investment products and banking operational workflows.
  • Develop highly responsive, scalable, and accessible user interfaces using JavaScript, React JS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks, improving React component structures, and refining state-management approaches.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Investment Banking Operations teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Provide technical guidance to developers on JavaScript coding standards, React architectural patterns, reusable components, and secure development practices.
  • Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs by defining data contracts, managing error scenarios, and ensuring reliable communication.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain strong unit-testing coverage to minimize regressions and improve long-term maintainability.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering teams to build testable components, support automated user journeys, and resolve issues identified during system and user acceptance testing.
  • Promote continuous improvement through reusable components, streamlined development workflows, and adoption of modern React and JavaScript tooling.
  • Support production applications by analyzing incidents, performing root-cause analysis, implementing fixes, and improving application monitoring.
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to present technical options, explain trade-offs, and align solutions with organizational objectives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, component libraries, configurations, and onboarding documentation.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment to develop realistic implementation plans and timelines.
  • Mentor and guide peers on robust front-end development practices without requiring formal people-management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript and React JS in enterprise-scale applications.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • React component-based architecture
    • State-management concepts and frameworks
    • JavaScript / modern ES standards
    • HTML and CSS
    • Asynchronous programming
    • REST APIs and backend-service integration
  • Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with version control systems, build tools, package managers, and modern front-end development tooling.
  • Experience implementing unit testing and code-quality practices for front-end applications.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding, data protection, and development practices appropriate for financial-services applications.
  • Ability to investigate complex technical problems, identify root causes, and communicate clear resolution steps.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Domain Experience

Practical exposure to one or more of the following is highly preferred:

  • Investment Banking
  • Brokerage
  • Trading applications
  • Investment products
  • Trade processing
  • Settlement workflows
  • Banking operational platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience developing applications supporting high-volume financial transactions or operational workflows.
  • Experience mentoring developers and establishing React development standards.
  • Experience working in a hybrid, global banking environment.

Compensation: - $ 900,000 to $110,000 + COLA + Performance Bonus + Full benefits. Application will be accepted by 10/25/2026
