PostgreSQL Database Engineer (Cloud SQL & GCP)
Experience: 6+ years of PostgreSQL database administration and engineering experience, including hands-on expertise with Google Cloud SQL. Experience supporting high-volume transactional applications on GCP is required. Healthcare data management and PHI compliance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable PostgreSQL schemas, indexing strategies, partitioning, and row-level security policies.
- Manage Cloud SQL environments, including high availability, backups, point-in-time recovery, connection pooling, and database maintenance.
- Optimize database performance through SQL tuning, index optimization, and workload management for transactional and reporting applications.
- Implement database monitoring, capacity planning, security hardening, access reviews, and compliance controls.
- Support application releases, schema versioning, incident management, recovery testing, and production troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing database services.
- Provide database interfaces and support for platform integrations while ensuring data integrity and operational excellence.
