Job Summary
This hybrid role focuses on protecting enterprise systems through expert vulnerability management thorough vulnerability assessment and effective identity access control while leveraging cyber threat intelligence services. The CyberSecurity Specialist for threat and vulnerability management applies five to eight years of experience to safeguard critical assets support business continuity and enable secure digital growth across sales and marketing platforms in a day shift environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex system landscapes and applications to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations ensuring timely remediation that reduces exposure across enterprise environments and supports secure hybrid operations.
- Coordinate end to end vulnerability management cycles from discovery and prioritization to remediation verification using industry standard tools and methods to improve overall risk posture and strengthen organizational resilience.
- Apply structured vulnerability assessment techniques to evaluate servers endpoints networks and applications producing clear and actionable reports that guide technical teams and stakeholders toward focused risk reduction.
- Utilize cyber threat intelligence services to correlate emerging threat indicators with known vulnerabilities enabling proactive defense measures and helping the organization anticipate hostile activity before it impacts critical services.
- Implement and optimize identity and access management controls including provisioning deprovisioning and access review workflows that maintain strict access hygiene and support compliance requirements across business units.
- Collaborate with application owners and infrastructure teams to validate risk ratings for identified issues recommend remediation options aligned with business priorities and drive closure of high impact findings within agreed timelines.
- Monitor security dashboards and vulnerability feeds during day shifts to detect anomalies related to privileged access exploited weaknesses or new threat campaigns and promptly escalate significant events according to defined processes.
- Document technical procedures security baselines and operational runbooks for threat and vulnerability management ensuring repeatable practices and enabling consistent security operations across hybrid work arrangements.
- Engage with stakeholders from sales and marketing domains to understand key digital journeys and campaign platforms integrating cybersecurity controls that protect customer data while enabling effective and secure business outreach.
- Support audit and compliance activities by providing evidence of vulnerability scans remediation tracking and identity control enforcement contributing to successful assessments and reinforcing trust with clients and partners.
- Recommend security technology improvements and process refinements based on analysis of vulnerability trends and threat intelligence outputs helping the company continuously evolve its defenses and reduce long term risk.
- Provide guidance to peers on secure configuration practices and safe use of digital tools promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness that benefits the wider society through more robust protection of personal and business information.
- Participate in incident handling related to exploitation of vulnerabilities or misuse of identities by supplying root cause insights and corrective actions that prevent recurrence and enhance future detection capabilities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate five to eight years of dedicated experience in cyber security with a strong focus on threat and vulnerability management in enterprise scale environments and familiarity with hybrid work models.
- Possess advanced experience in identity and access management including policy design lifecycle management and periodic access reviews that ensure only appropriate and justified access to systems and data.
- Show hands on expertise with cyber threat intelligence services including consumption of threat feeds indicator analysis and integration of intelligence into vulnerability and risk management workflows.
- Bring substantial practical background in vulnerability management and vulnerability assessment using recognized platforms and scanners while translating technical findings into clear remedial actions for engineering teams.
- Exhibit an understanding of sales and marketing domain processes and digital tools that enables alignment of security controls with customer engagement activities and supports secure delivery of campaigns and analytics.
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal form with cross functional teams conveying complex security topics in accessible language and collaborating effectively without the need for travel.
