Job Summary
Consulting Manager role in a global IT consulting environment focused on delivering high impact advisory and implementation services for enterprise clients through hybrid work and day shift engagement requiring eight to ten years of experience in IT consulting and strong capability to translate complex technology challenges into practical business outcomes that advance client and company objectives while supporting sustainable societal value.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end consulting engagements for enterprise clients in IT consulting ensuring projects are scoped effectively aligned with client strategic priorities and delivered on time with measurable business value in a hybrid work setting.
- Guide clients through complex technology transformation initiatives by translating business requirements into clear consulting roadmaps that optimize platforms processes and data flows for long term organizational resilience.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary consulting teams across functions to integrate technical analysis process redesign and change enablement into cohesive delivery plans that strengthen client operational efficiency.
- Develop detailed proposals and statements of work for IT consulting assignments by analyzing client needs estimating effort and cost and defining outcomes that support sustainable and responsible use of technology.
- Shape solution recommendations for digital modernization cloud adoption data management and application portfolios by synthesizing market trends internal capabilities and client constraints into actionable implementation paths.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders during workshops and review sessions to validate assumptions refine requirements and secure alignment around priorities that advance both business performance and broader societal impact.
- Mentor consulting practitioners within the team by sharing IT consulting best practices quality standards and reusable methods that improve consistency and raise the overall maturity of consulting delivery.
- Monitor engagement financials resource utilization and delivery risks taking corrective actions where needed to maintain profitability manage scope and protect client satisfaction while maintaining ethical consulting practices.
- Create structured findings business cases and executive ready recommendations that demonstrate clear value realization and enable client leadership to make informed technology investment decisions.
- Work with internal product engineering and operations groups to reuse accelerators frameworks and reference architectures that reduce delivery timelines and enhance reliability of consulting outcomes.
- Document lessons learned and reusable assets from each consulting engagement to build a sustainable knowledge base that can be leveraged across accounts and regions for continuous improvement.
- Engage in continuous skill development in emerging IT consulting areas such as automation data governance and secure architecture design to maintain relevance and provide forward looking guidance to clients.
- Align consulting approaches with company purpose by prioritizing solutions that improve accessibility environmental sustainability and inclusive economic growth through responsible use of digital technology.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate eight to ten years of progressive experience in IT consulting including direct responsibility for managing medium to large client engagements with complex technology and process landscapes.
- Apply strong knowledge of consulting methodologies project delivery lifecycles and stakeholder management techniques to shape structured engagements that consistently achieve defined objectives.
- Exhibit deep domain expertise in IT consulting across areas such as enterprise architecture application modernization infrastructure optimization or data and analytics with proven examples of successful client outcomes.
- Utilize advanced analytical and problem solving skills to assess current technology environments identify gaps and propose feasible improvement initiatives supported by clear cost and benefit considerations.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders through concise documentation presentations and facilitation of workshops that promote understanding and collaboration.
- Operate comfortably in a hybrid working model and day shift schedule using collaboration tools and disciplined time management to maintain productivity across onsite and remote interactions.
- Leverage hands on familiarity with standard consulting and delivery tools in areas such as requirements management process mapping and project tracking to keep engagements transparent and well organized.
- Display commitment to ethical consulting practices data privacy and regulatory awareness ensuring that technology recommendations uphold compliance expectations and societal trust.
- Maintain openness to acquiring advanced professional certifications in consulting project management or specific technology domains to continually enhance credibility and contribution.
