Job Summary
Design and implement scalable cloud native architectures using Python Java Azure and modern SRE DevOps practices for large enterprise solutions ensuring reliability security and performance while collaborating in a hybrid work model that enables close partnership with product security and operations teams to deliver measurable business value for global customers.
Responsibilities
- Architect end to end cloud native solutions using Python Java and Azure services that align with enterprise standards and deliver measurable business outcomes for complex digital products.
- Design highly available and resilient application architectures that meet strict reliability objectives and apply SRE principles to minimize downtime and customer impact.
- Define and implement CI CD workflows using GitHub based repositories and pipelines to enable rapid safe and auditable delivery of application changes across multiple environments.
- Develop robust observability strategies using logs metrics and traces that allow early detection of issues and support data driven reliability improvements.
- Optimize application and infrastructure performance on Azure by tuning resource configurations scaling strategies and caching approaches to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate closely with product owners engineers and site reliability practitioners to translate functional and non functional requirements into clear architectural blueprints.
- Establish coding patterns and integration designs in Python and Java that promote reusability security and maintainability across distributed teams.
- Review solution designs code and deployment configurations to identify technical risks and recommend practical remediation steps that reduce operational toil.
- Drive adoption of infrastructure as code and automated configuration management to standardize environments and lower error rates in day to day operations.
- Create and maintain high quality architectural documentation and diagrams that provide clarity for engineering and operations partners throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Advise teams on effective use of Azure platform services including container data and security capabilities to accelerate feature delivery without compromising reliability.
- Mentor engineers on SRE and DevOps practices such as error budgeting incident review and capacity planning to build a culture of shared responsibility for uptime.
- Engage in incident reviews and continuous improvement activities to ensure production learnings are translated into durable architectural enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bring a strong background in designing and delivering large scale applications using Python and Java with at least nine years of hands on software development experience.
- Demonstrate proven experience with GitHub based workflows including branching strategies pull request reviews and automated checks for enterprise projects.
- Show solid practical knowledge of Azure services such as compute storage networking and managed databases with a track record of successful production deployments.
- Apply SRE and DevOps concepts including service level objectives monitoring alerting and runbook automation to improve reliability and reduce mean time to recovery.
- Exhibit strong understanding of secure coding practices identity and access concepts and data protection mechanisms as applied within cloud hosted applications.
- Communicate complex architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders and document rationale to support future evolution of solutions.
- Work effectively in a hybrid work model using remote collaboration tools and structured communication practices to maintain alignment across distributed teams.
- Utilize problem solving skills and analytical thinking to troubleshoot challenging production issues and propose sustainable architectural remedies.
