About the role
We are seeking a highly qualified Project Manager/Scrum master with 8+ years of experience managing end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. As a Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to impactful projects that align with the company’s vision.
In this role, you will:
· Coordinate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to maintain team focus and productivity.
· Utilize Atlassian Confluence and Jira to track project progress, manage tasks, and ensure transparency across stakeholders.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and establish clear goals.
· Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution - Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing any concerns promptly.
· Drive continuous improvement within the team by analyzing past performance and implementing actionable insights.
· Ensure adherence to Agile principles and Scrum practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
· Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
· Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation plans.
· Oversee resource planning and allocation to optimize team efficiency and meet project deadlines.
· Support team members in resolving challenges and removing obstacles to maintain project momentum.
· Align project outcomes with organizational goals, contributing to the company’s success and societal impact.
Work model: Hybrid

What you need to have to be considered:
· 8+ years of proven Project Management experience.
· Oversee Agile projects and ensure successful delivery using Scrum methodologies.
· The ideal candidate will have expertise in Atlassian Confluence and Jira, with a strong understanding of project management practices.
· Experience in Commercial Lending is a plus.

Salary and compensation:
The annual salary for this position will be between $71,000 to $120,000 per year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
