The analyst will create robust test frameworks support auto verification and validation activities and collaborate with cross functional teams in an office based day shift role with occasional travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test scenarios that validate system functionality performance and reliability using Python Bash and CAPL scripting in a structured office based environment.
- Develop maintain and enhance reusable automated test scripts that integrate with existing test frameworks to increase coverage and reduce regression effort across multiple releases.
- Build and refine modular test frameworks that support scalable execution logging and reporting while enabling easy onboarding of new test cases and configurations.
- Apply generative AI techniques to design intelligent test data generate edge case scenarios and optimize test coverage for complex functional and integration workflows.
- Execute manual and automated test suites in a disciplined manner document observed behavior and track issues through closure to ensure consistent product quality.
- Analyze test results identify patterns and collaborate with development and system teams to perform root cause analysis and recommend durable corrective actions.
- Prepare clear test documentation including detailed test plans test cases execution logs and summary reports to support internal reviews and customer facing audits.
- Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders to clarify requirements refine acceptance criteria and ensure that delivered features meet defined quality expectations and regulatory needs.
- Support auto verification and validation activities by aligning test design with domain specific scenarios and by validating that system behavior matches real world usage patterns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to tools processes and automation strategies that increase efficiency and reduce test cycle times.
- Communicate progress risks and blockers proactively in English both in written and spoken form ensuring shared understanding between engineering and quality teams.
- Adapt test priorities based on project timelines in a day shift office environment and be prepared to travel to customer or lab sites when onsite validation is required.
- Ensure that all testing activities comply with organizational quality standards security guidelines and industry best practices to safeguard users and positively impact society.
Qualifications
- Understand core software testing principles including test design techniques defect lifecycle and risk based testing to ensure structured coverage of system requirements.
- Use Python scripting to automate repetitive test tasks process logs and integrate with continuous integration tools to support frequent reliable builds.
- Apply Bash scripting on Linux or similar environments to orchestrate test runs manage environments and collect diagnostic information efficiently.
- Utilize CAPL scripting for testing communication buses and embedded interfaces in scenarios where automotive style message based validation is required.
- Leverage generative AI tools to design test data sets summarize logs and propose additional test ideas that strengthen product robustness.
- Create or extend custom test frameworks that support plug in components reporting dashboards and integration with configuration management systems.
- Apply knowledge of auto verification and validation concepts to design realistic use cases fault conditions and regression suites that mirror field behavior.
- Communicate fluently in English in both written and verbal form to document findings explain defects and collaborate with global teams in a clear inclusive manner.
Certifications Required
