Job Summary
Contribute as a product engineer in the maps domain for a global technology organization performing detailed map data analysis and quality validation for hi tech products. Apply fluent English communication to interpret requirements document findings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an office based day shift environment that supports precise and reliable mapping solutions for users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Analyze digital map data to identify gaps inconsistencies and improvement opportunities that enhance accuracy and reliability for end users in hi tech products.
- Review complex mapping scenarios and apply defined rules to validate road networks points of interest and geospatial attributes that directly support safe and efficient navigation.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams to clarify mapping requirements using clear spoken English and precise documentation for smooth delivery of enhancements.
- Execute test cases and validation checks on updated map content to confirm functional correctness and compliance with internal quality standards.
- Document analysis results with detailed annotations and structured observations that allow fast triage root cause analysis and corrective actions by technical teams.
- Collaborate with data operations and analytics stakeholders in the office to refine workflows that reduce defects and cycle time while maintaining high coverage of map features.
- Use internal tools for map editing data tagging and issue tracking to ensure transparent progress reporting and timely resolution of production defects.
- Support incremental releases of map content by verifying critical user journeys such as routing search and address resolution in hi tech environments.
- Engage in regular review sessions to discuss recurring map data issues and propose pragmatic process changes that improve long term data quality.
- Prepare concise reports and presentations in English that summarize trends metrics and improvement recommendations for maps related initiatives.
- Participate in knowledge sharing discussions with peers to standardize best practices in map data interpretation and application of hi tech domain guidelines.
- Adhere to defined office based schedules and day shift expectations to enable real time collaboration with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
