We are seeking a Senior Techno-Functional Consultant – Enablon ESG Reporting to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of ESG reporting solutions using the Enablon platform. The ideal candidate will have strong sustainability reporting knowledge (GHG Protocol, CDP, GRI, SASB/ISSB, TCFD), hands-on Enablon configuration experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions. This role also includes RFP writing support, training/mentoring, project management and executive-level sustainability memo coordination with leadership teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Enablon Techno-Functional Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Enablon ESG reporting solutions, including requirements discovery, solution design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live/hypercare support.
- Manage and guide/mentor Sustainability Team at onsite and offshore
- Build and configure the Utility Data Management (UDM) module to enable automated utility bill ingestion, exception/error handling, shared functions, validation rules, and reporting capabilities.
- Manage 2–3 sustainability consulting and implementation projects, proactively identifying cross-functional risks and potential roadblocks across multiple departments, while establishing standardized processes for tracking, monitoring, and reporting project progress to ensure successful delivery.
- Configure and administer the Enablon Metrics module, including KPI/indicator setup, calculation formulas, campaigns, workflows, version control, and KPI governance controls.
- Design ESG data models and reporting structures to support Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, water, waste, and other sustainability performance indicators.
- Perform GHG emissions verification and recalculations, ensuring methodological alignment with the GHG Protocol and client-specific accounting standards.
- Support data imports/exports, integrations, and reconciliation activities to ensure data completeness, consistency, and audit/assurance readiness.
- Produce and maintain delivery documentation, including functional specifications, configuration workbooks, SOPs, and end-user training guides.
- Maintain and update emission factor libraries/tables; support assurance activities through data preparation, traceability checks, and analysis.
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports; perform data analysis in Excel; leverage Enablon import/export utilities for extracts, uploads, and bulk updates.
- Configure and manage Energy Certificate tracking (e.g., POs, RECs, GOs) and support both location-based and market-based emissions reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s or Ph.D. degree in engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability data management, or EHS/ESG platform implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Enablon (Metrics Module configuration preferred).
- Working knowledge of GHG Protocol, emissions accounting, and sustainability KPI governance.
- Experience supporting ESG reporting frameworks such as CDP, GRI, SASB/ISSB, and TCFD.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills / Good to Have
- Experience with Scope-1,2, 3 data modeling and supplier emissions reporting.
- Familiarity with assurance/audit readiness processes for ESG reporting.
- Exposure to LCA tools (SimaPro, OpenLCA, GaBi, GREET) and carbon foot printing methodologies.
- Experience with data tools such as SQL, Power Automate, Power BI/Tableau, ETL pipelines, or data lakes.
