Job Summary
This role is for a Specialist Professional Employee in Loan Originations with three to four years of experience focusing on accurate processing of mortgage loans and consumer credit products in a hybrid night shift model. The role requires strong proficiency with MS Excel to analyze data validate loan information and support operational reporting for cards and payments while consistently maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Manage end to end loan origination activities for assigned applications by validating documentation updating internal systems and ensuring accurate and timely completion of each processing stage in alignment with internal quality standards and client expectations.Execute detailed data entry and data validation tasks in loan processing platforms by carefully reviewing applicant information financial details and supporting documents to reduce errors and rework while improving overall operational efficiency.Utilize advanced MS Excel skills to prepare analyze and reconcile loan pipelines portfolio reports and exception logs by applying formulas pivot tables and structured data checks to maintain high data integrity.Coordinate with internal operations teams through virtual collaboration channels to clarify missing information resolve discrepancies on loan files and ensure smooth handoffs across the loan origination workflow without requiring business travel.Apply working knowledge of mortgage loan and consumer credit concepts to interpret eligibility criteria evaluate basic risk indicators and escalate unusual patterns so that potential issues are identified early and managed according to established procedures.Review nightly work queues in a structured manner by prioritizing cases based on service level agreements customer impact and complexity to ensure timely completion of tasks in a consistent night shift schedule.Document all processing steps decisions and clarifications in internal tools in a clear and structured way to provide a reliable audit trail that supports compliance checks and downstream operational reviews.Support cards and payments related originations by validating application details verifying required information and updating status fields so that card issuance and payment product activation can proceed without delay.Perform regular quality checks on completed loan files and Excel based trackers by comparing source inputs with system outputs to detect defects recommend process corrections and contribute to continuous improvement of control mechanisms.Collaborate with supervisors and process trainers by sharing recurring issues and suggesting practical enhancements to checklists templates and macros that can streamline repetitive steps in the loan origination cycle.Follow all relevant regulatory guidelines and internal policies applicable to loan and card products by adhering to documented procedures for data handling privacy protection and record retention across all assigned tasks.Maintain consistent productivity and accuracy targets in a hybrid working model by effectively managing time adhering to scheduled night shift hours and using digital tools to balance on site and remote work expectations.Support the broader organizational purpose by ensuring that each approved loan or credit product is processed accurately and responsibly so that customers receive fair access to financial services and the company upholds its reputation for trust and reliability.
Qualifications
Possess a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in business finance economics commerce or a related field that provides a strong foundation in analytical thinking and numerical interpretation relevant to loan operations.Demonstrate three to four years of hands on experience in loan operations credit processing or similar back office banking functions where exposure to originations underwriting support or documentation review has been a core responsibility.Exhibit strong proficiency in MS Excel including use of formulas conditional formatting pivot tables and data validation techniques to manage large datasets and create structured operational reports without relying on complex programming.Bring practical exposure to mortgage loan processing such as handling applications income documents and collateral related information to better understand the life cycle of home finance products and related risk controls.Show familiarity with cards and payments operations including basic understanding of credit card or debit card applications transaction flows and settlement dependencies so that responsibilities can extend beyond standard loans when required.Display excellent attention to detail numerical accuracy and process discipline to ensure that every data point in loan files and Excel trackers is verified documented and maintained with high precision.Communicate clearly in spoken and written form with colleagues and supervisors to document issues raise clarifications and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner in a cross functional environment.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include MS Excel Specialist or equivalent banking operations or mortgage processing credentials relevant to loan origination.
