Job Summary
This role supports policy servicing activities for a global property and casualty portfolio in a structured work from office environment during night shifts. The professional will prepare update and validate policy data using MS Office tools to ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance with internal standards. The role contributes to a dependable customer experience and supports better risk decisions for clients.
Responsibilities
Perform policy servicing tasks such as data entry validation and document preparation in MS Office to maintain accurate and updated policy records for global clientsExecute endorsement processing renewals and policy amendments by following documented standard procedures to ensure consistent and reliable service deliveryReview source documents and client instructions carefully to identify missing information and discrepancies before updating policy records in internal systemsCoordinate with internal stakeholders through email and collaboration tools to clarify instructions and resolve policy data queries within agreed timelinesPrepare structured reports and logs in MS Office to track completed transactions error trends and process compliance for periodic reviewConduct quality checks on assigned work items to confirm adherence to accuracy targets and promptly correct identified issues to reduce reworkManage daily work queues during night shift hours by prioritizing items based on urgency and service level commitments to meet productivity goalsAdhere to company policies information security guidelines and regulatory requirements while handling sensitive policyholder information and documentationDocument step by step process updates and improvement suggestions in a clear format to support standardization and future training needsSupport process improvement efforts by sharing recurring issues data quality challenges and practical ideas that can help streamline policy servicing activitiesRespond to queries from supervisors and quality teams with clear explanations of actions taken on policy records to support transparent operationsAdapt to changes in client instructions templates and formats by quickly learning new procedures and applying them consistently in daily tasksContribute to the company mission by ensuring that policy records are reliable timely and usable which helps clients manage risk and supports broader community resilience
Qualifications
Possess one to three years of experience in back office operations or policy servicing roles with regular use of MS Office applications for data intensive workDemonstrate strong proficiency in MS Excel MS Word and MS Outlook including handling large datasets formatted documents and structured email communicationExhibit solid analytical ability and attention to detail to detect anomalies incomplete information and formatting errors in policy documents and data filesShow familiarity with property and casualty insurance concepts such as policy period coverage limits premiums and endorsements as a desirable domain backgroundDisplay effective written communication skills that enable preparation of clear status updates process notes and responses to internal stakeholdersOperate efficiently in a night shift work from office model while maintaining consistent productivity and focus throughout the scheduled hoursWork comfortably in a structured team environment by following standard procedures accepting feedback and aligning with shared performance objectives
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include MS Office Specialist or equivalent and any property and casualty insurance foundation credential
