Job Summary
Serve as a specialist in policy servicing for life and annuities products handling end to end policy maintenance tasks with precision and empathy while working in an On-site rotational shift environment. Use strong MS Office capabilities and clear English communication to support customer centric operations and ensure high quality service outcomes for a global insurance client.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily policy servicing requests for life and annuities policies ensuring timely and accurate execution of changes such as endorsements renewals cancellations and reinstatements in line with defined business rules and service levels.
- Process customer and intermediary instructions for policy updates such as beneficiary details address changes and payment method revisions while maintaining strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive digital records of all policy servicing activities using MS Office tools to document actions track status and support audit ready documentation for internal and external reviews.
- Analyze incoming work items and emails to categorize prioritize and route policy servicing tasks appropriately ensuring that high impact items are addressed within agreed timelines.
- Verify completeness and consistency of policy data by cross checking information from multiple systems and documents and escalate discrepancies or potential data quality issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations team members quality analysts and supervisors to resolve complex servicing scenarios and clarify process queries while contributing to a cohesive hybrid working environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English with internal partners through email and collaboration tools to seek clarifications share updates and provide status on policy servicing assignments.
- Apply MS Office skills especially in spreadsheets and presentations to prepare trackers reports and simple dashboards that highlight productivity quality trends and exception items for management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues suggesting process enhancements and participating in knowledge sharing sessions focused on policy servicing best practices.
- Adhere to rotational shift schedules and productivity expectations while maintaining strong focus on accuracy customer centricity and regulatory compliance in every servicing transaction.
- Follow defined standard operating procedures and compliance guidelines related to life and annuities policy servicing ensuring that all controls checkpoints and approval requirements are consistently met.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by minimizing errors reducing rework and ensuring that policy records are maintained in a way that supports seamless downstream processes such as claims billing and reporting.
- Participate in training refreshers and performance feedback sessions to strengthen policy servicing expertise build domain understanding and align with evolving client expectations and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate professional experience of 1-3 years in customer service through voice channel, insurance operations policy servicing or a similar processing environment where accuracy service quality and adherence to timelines were critical success factors.
- Exhibit strong hands on proficiency in MS Office applications notably spreadsheets documents and presentations using them to manage data validate information and create clear operational reports.
- Show foundational understanding of life and annuities insurance products and terminology or a strong willingness to learn this domain to handle policy servicing scenarios with better context and judgement.
- Display strong English reading writing and speaking skills that enable accurate comprehension of servicing requests clear documentation of actions and effective coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and a disciplined approach to following procedures especially when handling customer sensitive information and financial data across multiple systems.
- Adapt effectively to hybrid work arrangements and rotational shifts by maintaining consistent productivity communication and collaboration across on site and remote settings.
- Exhibit problem solving mindset by analyzing servicing exceptions identifying root causes and supporting resolution in a way that protects customer interests and aligns with organizational policies.
