Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary
Role involves applying generative intelligence solutions using GitHub Copilot and other generative technologies to enhance trade finance and message manager processes in cards and payments domain. Person will function as a specialist across functional design solution validation and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid day shift model while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
Responsibilities
- Drive functional analysis and solution design for trade finance products within cards and payments domain to ensure that generative intelligence capabilities deliver measurable operational efficiency and improved client experience across hybrid working model
- Coordinate with product owners and technology teams to translate complex business requirements from cards and payments operations into clear user stories and functional specifications that guide configuration of generative intelligence solutions and message manager workflows
- Optimize usage of GitHub Copilot as an assistive development and documentation tool by defining standards for prompt construction reviewing generated artifacts and ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and regulatory expectations in financial services
- Oversee end to end functional validation of enhancements to trade finance and message manager processes by designing test scenarios reviewing outcomes and confirming that implemented changes support straight through processing and lower exception rates
- Collaborate with operations teams to refine credit risk settlement and reconciliation workflows across cards and payments platforms by applying generative intelligence insights to reduce manual steps and improve timeliness of customer transactions
- Support development of functional use cases for generative intelligence and GitHub Copilot by identifying high impact scenarios in trade finance and cards processing documenting value hypotheses and tracking adoption metrics that demonstrate business benefit
- Guide configuration of message manager rules templates and routing logic to ensure accurate processing of payment messages and trade instructions while maintaining compatibility with downstream systems and cross border standards in the institution
- Monitor functional performance indicators across cards and payments value chain including processing time error rates and compliance checks then recommend incremental improvements enabled by generative intelligence tools to sustain continuous process optimization
- Coordinate functional risk and compliance assessment for new generative intelligence solutions in trade finance by engaging risk stakeholders documenting operational controls and confirming that data usage meets internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Facilitate detailed walkthroughs and training sessions for operations and product teams on new cards and payments features message manager changes and generative intelligence enabled workflows to accelerate adoption and minimize disruption during releases
- Provide structured functional support during incident analysis and defect remediation by examining message manager logs trade finance records and cards transaction flows to isolate root causes and propose sustainable corrective actions
- Document comprehensive functional artefacts including process maps configuration references and release notes for all enhancements in cards and payments trade finance and generative intelligence solutions to maintain traceability and audit readiness
- Coordinate hybrid collaboration rhythms including onsite workshops and virtual ceremonies so that cross functional stakeholders achieve alignment on backlog priorities release planning and process improvement targets in day shift operations
Qualifications
- Demonstrate deep functional expertise in cards and payments domain with strong understanding of authorization clearing settlement chargebacks and regulatory requirements so that solution designs remain compliant and robust
- Apply practical hands on experience in trade finance products such as letters of credit guarantees collections and supply chain finance to design workflows that are operationally viable and aligned with customer and correspondent bank expectations
- Use advanced proficiency in generative intelligence techniques including prompt engineering solution evaluation and safety considerations to shape practical applications across documentation test design and process analysis in financial services
- Utilize GitHub Copilot in daily work to improve productivity in configuration scripting documentation and test asset creation while continuously assessing generated content for accuracy reliability and adherence to organizational standards
- Bring proven experience working with message manager systems in financial institutions including definition of routing rules message formats and exception handling logic to ensure accurate and timely processing of payment and trade messages
- Apply at least eight to twelve years of overall experience in functional analysis product configuration and operations support within cards and payments or trade finance environments enabling effective collaboration with senior stakeholders and implementation teams
Certifications Required
Recommended certifications include Certified Payments Professional CPP and AI related credentials such as Azure AI Fundamentals or equivalent

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $125,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
