About the Role
Cognizant is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Planning Cloud (EPBCS) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise planning and performance management solutions. This role will partner closely with Finance, FP&A, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, capital planning, and strategic modeling solutions while driving best practices across Oracle EPM Cloud engagements.
In this role you will
- Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Planning Cloud (EPBCS) solutions across Financials, Workforce, Capital (Capex), Projects, and Strategic Modeling modules.
- Partner with Finance and FP&A stakeholders to gather requirements and translate budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes into scalable cloud solutions.
- Define and govern solution architecture including dimensions, cube strategy (BSO/ASO), business rules, calculation logic, data integrations, and inter-module workflows.
- Drive fit-gap assessments, solution design workshops, and requirements mapping sessions with business and technical teams.
- Manage client relationships through solution walkthroughs, executive presentations, status reviews, and planning workstream governance.
- Provide guidance on multi-EPM architectures, including PCMCS/EPCM profitability and cost management solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with Oracle leading practices, performance standards, and enterprise architecture requirements.
- Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing, deployment activities, and post-production support.
- Support pre-sales initiatives by developing solution demonstrations, proofs of concept, estimates, and capability presentations.
- Mentor project teams and provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Work Model: Remote with Milestone travel to New Jersey
This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to work from a Cognizant office and/or client location within the United States based on project needs and business requirements.
What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience delivering Oracle EPM solutions with at least 5+ years of hands-on Oracle EPBCS implementation experience.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Planning Cloud modules including Financials, Workforce, Capital, Projects, and Strategic Modeling.
- Experience designing multidimensional applications, cube strategies (BSO/ASO), business rules, calculations, and security models.
- Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes.
- Experience leading client workshops, fit-gap sessions, and requirements-gathering activities.
- Strong experience with EPM data integrations, metadata management, and reporting capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale implementations and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
These will help you stand out
- Oracle EPM Cloud certifications.
- Experience with PCMCS/EPCM for profitability and cost allocation solutions.
- Experience integrating Oracle EPM Cloud with Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle EBS, HCM Cloud, or third-party platforms.
- Knowledge of Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS), Tax Reporting Cloud (TRCS), or EDMCS.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and proposal development.
- Strong consulting background delivering enterprise transformation programs.
- Experience leading global delivery teams and mentoring junior consultants.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $100,890 - $138,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
