Cognizant Consulting is more than Cognizant's consulting practice—we're a global community of 6,000+ experts dedicated to helping clients reimagine their business. Blending our deep industry and technology advisory capability, we create innovative business solutions for Fortune 500 clients. And now, we're looking for our next colleague who'll join us in shaping the future of business. Could it be you?
About the role
As a Sales Operations Lead, you will make an impact by building, scaling and optimizing our client's end-to-end revenue operations function. You will be a valued member of the Revenue Operations team and work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Support and Product stakeholders, and clients. This role sits at the intersection of these functions and is responsible for creating a scalable, predictable revenue engine through process design, CRM governance, forecasting rigor and executive-level reporting.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in go-to-market (GTM) operations, channel/partner management and CRM platform ownership, with a track record of measurably improving sales velocity, forecast accuracy and deal profitability.
In this role, you will:
Own end-to-end sales process design, including lead-to-close workflows, pipeline hygiene and forecast governance, while partnering with Sales leadership on forecasting methodology, KPI frameworks and sales technology strategy.
Own CRM platform governance and data integrity (Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud or equivalent) including support for platform migrations, and govern CPQ workflows and pricing/quote approval processes to improve deal velocity and reduce manual effort.
Manage distributor and reseller/channel relationships, including revenue growth initiatives, partner enablement, escalations and commercial change communications; orchestrate complex enterprise and public-sector bid/RFP processes under strict governance and compliance requirements.
Build and maintain executive-ready reporting and dashboards (attainment, pipeline velocity, win/loss, renewals) using tools such as Power BI and Excel; lead or support strategic initiatives such as business model transitions (e.g., perpetual to subscription), GTM refinement, and operational readiness during growth phases.
Design and deliver sales onboarding and enablement programs; build, lead and scale a high-performing, multilingual sales or sales operations team; and drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Product to support revenue growth and profitability.
Consistently demonstrate the Cognizant Way to Lead, which means operating with Personal Leadership (building trust, collaboration, and inclusion), Organizational Leadership (driving vision and purpose, demonstrating a strategic and enterprise mindset, and creating and communicating a bold direction that inspires purpose), and Business Leadership (exemplifying client focus, managing ambiguity with accountability and results, and operating with financial acumen).

What you must have to be considered
8–10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or GTM Operations, ideally within B2B SaaS, with demonstrated success improving sales cycle time, win rates, forecast accuracy and/or deal profitability.
Strong CRM ownership and governance experience (Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud or similar) including migration experience, and hands-on experience with CPQ tools and pricing/quote approval workflows.
Proven experience managing channel/partner (distributor and reseller) relationships, along with experience in bid/RFP orchestration in enterprise or public-sector environments.
Advanced reporting and analytics skills (Power BI, Excel), with the ability to translate business needs into reporting specifications, and experience managing or contributing to business model transitions (e.g., perpetual to subscription/ARR).
Strong change and project management skills (Agile/Scrum familiarity a plus), people leadership experience including building and scaling teams, and excellent cross-functional stakeholder management and communication skills.
These will help you succeed
Experience operating in dual/concurrent roles spanning global operations and regional (e.g., EMEA) sales leadership.
Background in data protection, backup or infrastructure software markets.
