A strong background in healthcare, enterprise integrations, data modeling, and regulatory compliance is essential.

In this role, you will:

  • Utilize healthcare domain expertise to deliver solutions aligned with healthcare operations and claims processing requirements.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and integration issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective technical solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, troubleshooting, development guidance, and enforcement of Pega engineering standards.
  • Collaborate within Agile/SAFe teams, participating in sprint ceremonies, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts and driving successful solution delivery.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

  • Strong expertise integrating Pega applications with enterprise platforms using REST APIs, microservices, and other modern integration technologies.
  • Strong experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka-based integrations. Apache Kafka experience is preferred; Confluent Kafka experience is also acceptable.
  • Demonstrated experience designing resilient, scalable integrations and troubleshooting complex application, data, and messaging issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct code and technical reviews, monitor application quality and performance, mitigate technical risks, and ensure compliance with Pega guardrails and development standards.
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments with strong stakeholder engagement and healthcare claims processing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards and transactions, including HIPAA, EDI, 835, and 837.
