Job Summary
The Sr. Developer role is pivotal in driving the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies. With a focus on Amazon RDS AWS CloudWatch and AWS DevOps the candidate will design implement and maintain scalable applications. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of AWS services to optimize performance and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS services to enhance business operations.
- Implement and manage Amazon RDS databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor application performance using AWS CloudWatch to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Utilize AWS DevOps tools to streamline development processes and improve deployment efficiency.
- Design and maintain data warehouses using Amazon Redshift for optimized data analytics.
- Configure and manage AWS EC2 instances to support scalable application infrastructure.
- Leverage AWS EMR for big data processing and analysis to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Store and manage data securely using Amazon S3 to ensure data accessibility and compliance.
- Write and maintain Python scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS solutions with existing systems.
- Ensure application security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers to foster team growth.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new AWS technologies to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in Amazon RDS and AWS CloudWatch for effective application monitoring.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AWS DevOps tools for efficient software development lifecycle management.
- Have experience with Amazon Redshift for data warehousing and analytics solutions.
- Show capability in managing AWS EC2 instances for scalable application deployment.
- Exhibit knowledge in AWS EMR for processing large datasets efficiently.
- Be skilled in using Amazon S3 for secure and compliant data storage.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and task optimization.
Certifications Required
