- Analyze cloud infrastructure, application dependencies, observability configurations, and failover capabilities.
- Review and enhance MIRPs, including escalation paths, communication plans, sequencing, and impact containment strategies.
- Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and single points of failure across workloads and operational processes.
What you need to have to be considered
- Expertise in designing high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, Availability Zones, backup and recovery services, and monitoring/observability tools.

- Experience supporting regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure BCDR tools such as Azure Site Recovery, Backup Vaults, Automation, or Service Health.
- Knowledge of hybrid or multi‑cloud environments and their resiliency implications.
- Exposure to chaos engineering or resilience testing tools.
- Experience integrating DR validation or backup checks into DevOps pipelines.
- Familiarity with incident simulation platforms, runbook automation, Microsoft Sentinel, or ServiceNow workflows.
