BI Technical Lead – Customer & Corporate Analytics
About the role
As a BI Technical Lead – Customer & Corporate Analytics, you will make an impact by leading the delivery, modernization, and optimization of enterprise analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision making across customer and corporate functions. You will be a valued member of the AI & Analytics team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technology teams, and global delivery partners to deliver scalable analytics platforms, modern reporting solutions, and actionable business insights.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary technology partner for Customer & Corporate Analytics stakeholders, supporting business functions including Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Regulatory, and Corporate Operations.
- Lead the design, development, modernization, and support of analytics solutions utilizing Tableau, Power BI, GCP BigQuery, and enterprise reporting platforms.
- Drive analytics platform transformation initiatives, including dashboard modernization, semantic layer design, data source optimization, and cloud analytics adoption.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define analytics strategies, prioritize delivery roadmaps, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, governance, performance optimization, and adherence to enterprise standards.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a Cognizant or client office in Houston, TX. What you need to have to be considered
- 15+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data & Analytics delivery, or technical leadership roles.
- Expert-level experience with Tableau and Power BI, including solution architecture, dashboard development, administration, governance, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, SQL, dimensional modeling, semantic layer architecture, and modern analytics solutions.
- Experience leading analytics modernization initiatives, including migration of reporting and business intelligence platforms to cloud-based environments.
- Expertise in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, reporting frameworks, and enterprise analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting customer operations analytics, contact center reporting, customer experience metrics, financial reporting, and operational performance management.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, observability, and data catalog solutions.
- Proven ability to lead onsite and offshore delivery teams within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and executive presentation skills.
These will help you stand out
- Experience within the Utilities industry, particularly supporting customer and corporate analytics functions.
- Experience with SAP HANA, GCP BigQuery migrations, and enterprise analytics modernization programs.
- Knowledge of contact center technologies such as Genesys Cloud, NICE, or similar customer interaction platforms.
- Experience with customer analytics, Customer 360 solutions, workforce productivity reporting, and customer experience transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with data observability and governance tools such as Atlan, Monte Carlo, or similar platforms.
- Experience delivering enterprise KPI frameworks, HR analytics, finance reporting, and marketing analytics solutions.

Compensation
Applications will be accepted until July 30, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $137,500 and $161,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
