As a React Developer, you will make an impact by designing and developing modern, scalable, and high-performing web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will be a valued member of the application development team and work collaboratively with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to build innovative digital solutions.

In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive applications using React.js and modern front-end technologies.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform wireframes and mockups into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party SDKs to deliver seamless application functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to established development standards and best practices.
Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
What you need to have to be considered
- 3+ years of professional experience developing applications using React.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with state management frameworks such as Redux or Context API.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries or SDKs.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and modern front-end development practices.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
These will help you stand out
- Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade web applications.
- Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and automated testing practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
- Understanding of application performance monitoring and optimization techniques.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $95,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
