Job Summary
Sr Developer role in a global organization responsible for designing building and optimizing cloud native applications using AWS Lambda MongoDB Kafka and AWS Cloud services. The role involves delivering secure scalable and resilient solutions in a hybrid work model with day shift enabling efficient reporting capabilities that support business decisions and create tangible impact for clients and society.
Responsibilities
Design and implement highly scalable serverless applications using AWS Lambda to support critical business workflows and reporting needs in a secure and efficient manner.Develop robust data access layers and schemas in MongoDB that ensure optimal query performance high availability and consistent data quality across reporting and operational systems.Configure and optimize Kafka based event streaming pipelines that reliably process high volume data feeds and enable near real time insights for internal teams and external stakeholders.Collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to translate complex business requirements into clear technical solutions that align with organizational standards and reporting objectives.Conduct detailed code reviews and performance tuning activities across backend services to improve latency reliability and resource utilization in AWS Cloud environments.Establish and maintain secure integration patterns between AWS Lambda MongoDB and Kafka components that comply with enterprise security guidelines and protect sensitive information.Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation that clearly describes architecture decisions data flows and operational procedures for reporting and analytics solutions.Coordinate with product owners and business analysts to refine user stories estimate development effort accurately and deliver high quality features within agreed timelines.Implement automated testing strategies and continuous integration practices that improve code quality reduce defects and support stable deployments into AWS Cloud based environments.Monitor production systems using cloud native observability tools and proactively address incidents to minimize downtime and protect the reliability of reporting services.Guide peers by sharing best practices on AWS Lambda MongoDB Kafka and cloud design patterns to raise the overall technical maturity of the team.Evaluate new cloud capabilities and data technologies that can enhance reporting simplify operations and strengthen the company contribution to efficient and responsible digital services.Engage in regular stakeholder communication to provide status updates clarify technical risks and ensure that delivered solutions meet both business expectations and societal impact goals.
Qualifications
Possess extensive experience in designing and building serverless applications on AWS Lambda with strong understanding of cloud native architectures and security practices.Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MongoDB including data modeling indexing strategies performance optimization and operational management in production environments.Bring solid hands on expertise with Kafka for building resilient event streaming platforms including topic design consumer group management and throughput tuning.Show proven capability in working across AWS Cloud services such as compute storage networking and monitoring to deploy and operate large scale distributed applications.Exhibit familiarity with regular reporting processes and requirements translating data and system outputs into reliable information that supports decision making.Display strong skills in collaborative software development within hybrid work arrangements using modern tooling for source control issue tracking and continuous integration.Demonstrate effective communication and problem solving abilities that facilitate clear discussions with technical and nontechnical stakeholders and support successful project delivery.
