About the Role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will make an impact by analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and supporting solution delivery for a Pega-based application. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and leadership teams to improve processes and ensure successful business outcomes.
In This Role, You Will
Analyze current and future-state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Gather, document, and refine business and system requirements with stakeholders and product owners.
Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
Facilitate business discussions and support solution design involving APIs and system integrations.
Support UAT, defect resolution, and delivery of business and functional requirements documentation.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and requirements-gathering skills.
Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, and FRDs.
Experience with Jira, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
These Will Help You Stand Out
Experience supporting Pega-based applications.
Knowledge of the Pega Customer Service for Financial Services (CSFS) Framework.
Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and solution architecture concepts.
Experience with data analysis and business process optimization.
Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $129,500 - $152,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to plan terms.
