Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sr Consultant with 3 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize database systems ensuring their reliability and performance. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the companys success by maintaining robust database environments.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Oracle database systems to ensure high availability and performance.Oversee database security measures to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues to minimize downtime.Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and availability.Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs.Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.Conduct regular database audits to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations processes and procedures.Assist in capacity planning to ensure databases can handle future growth and demand.Participate in database migration and upgrade projects to enhance system capabilities.Provide training and guidance to junior team members to foster a collaborative work environment.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in database management.Contribute to the continuous improvement of database systems and processes.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of Oracle Database Administration with proven experience.Demonstrate proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.Have experience with backup and recovery tools and methodologies.Display strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Certifications Required
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Oracle Database Administration
