Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Sr Consultant with 3 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize database systems ensuring their reliability and performance. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the companys success by maintaining robust database environments.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Oracle database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Oversee database security measures to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct regular database audits to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations processes and procedures.
  • Assist in capacity planning to ensure databases can handle future growth and demand.
  • Participate in database migration and upgrade projects to enhance system capabilities.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in database management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of database systems and processes.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of Oracle Database Administration with proven experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.
  • Have experience with backup and recovery tools and methodologies.
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Certifications Required

    Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Oracle Database Administration
