Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to provide critical support for the Tenzai platform within the Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) team. This role focuses on ensuring reliable platform operations, rapid issue resolution, and continuous monitoring of system performance. You will play a key role in maintaining platform stability, managing configurations, and supporting security operations workflows. The position requires strong operational expertise, troubleshooting skills, and a service-oriented mindset.

In this role, you will:
· Provide day-to-day operational support for the Tenzai platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
· Monitor platform health, identify issues proactively, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
· Troubleshoot and resolve Tenzai-related technical issues across infrastructure and applications.
· Perform routine platform maintenance, updates, and configuration management activities.
· Maintain and enhance operational documentation, runbooks, and standard procedures.
· Collaborate with engineering and security teams to resolve issues and improve platform functionality.
· Support production environments and ensure adherence to operational SLAs and support processes.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for monitoring, alerting, and operational efficiency.
What you need to have to be considered
· 6-8 years of experience in IT operations, production support, or security engineering roles.
· Hands-on experience supporting platforms like Tenzai or similar security/data platforms.
· Strong background in troubleshooting, incident management, and operational support.
· Experience with system monitoring tools, logging, and performance management.
· Familiarity with configuration management and platform administration practices.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills with a service-oriented approach.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[105,500 - 124,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
