About the role
Looking for a Test Lead with strong experience in end-to-end healthcare payer claims testing, claims migration, parallel testing, reconciliation, and GenAI-enabled testing solutions
As a Senior Test Lead – Healthcare Payer Claims & GenAI, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing initiatives for healthcare claims transformation and migration programs. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of claims adjudication, reimbursement, pricing, and payment processes while driving testing excellence across large-scale migration efforts.
You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and boundary system partners to deliver successful healthcare transformation programs.
In this role, you will:
Lead end-to-end testing activities for healthcare claims migration initiatives, ensuring validation of claims processing, payment integrity, reimbursement, pricing, and downstream integrations.
Drive migration and parallel testing activities, including baseline validation, reconciliation, business outcome verification, and source-to-target comparisons.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and partner teams to define test strategies, validate requirements, and resolve functional gaps.
Develop and advance automation and AI-enabled testing practices using Playwright, API automation frameworks, GenAI accelerators, and data validation solutions.
Provide test governance, risk management, quality reporting, and executive-level readiness assessments to support successful go-live decisions.

What you need to have to be considered
10+ years of strong Healthcare Payer domain expertise, including Claims Adjudication, Payment Integrity, Reimbursement & Pricing Validation, Provider Network Validation, Eligibility Determination, and Claims Lifecycle Processing.
Proven experience leading end-to-end testing for healthcare claims migration and modernization programs.
Experience managing migration testing, parallel testing, source-to-target reconciliation, baseline validation, and business outcome verification.
Strong test management, governance, stakeholder management, and defect lifecycle management experience.
Experience leading quality engineering activities across large-scale transformation programs.
Experience collaborating across multiple business and technology teams, including boundary system integrations.
Strong analytical skills with experience in quality metrics, readiness reporting, risk management, and executive communications.
These will help you stand out
Experience with Playwright automation for UI and API testing.
Experience with GenAI-enabled testing solutions, including automated test generation, requirements analysis, impact assessment, and intelligent defect triaging.
Experience building automated data comparison, reconciliation, and validation frameworks.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices, contract testing, cloud testing, and modern Quality Engineering approaches.
Experience with JIRA, GitHub, dashboarding, and quality reporting tools.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 to $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
