We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in enterprise reporting, data analytics, visualization, and automation to support a large-scale Managed Services environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining executive dashboards, operational scorecards, KPI frameworks, and automation solutions that provide actionable insights across IT Service Management (ITSM), Infrastructure Operations, Cloud Services, Asset Management, and Financial Reporting domains.

This role requires a combination of advanced Power BI development skills, strong SQL and data modeling expertise, and a deep understanding of ITIL-based service management processes. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership, service delivery teams, and customers to deliver enterprise-grade reporting solutions that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will

Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reports for executive and operational stakeholders.

• Create visually compelling and data-driven reports that provide actionable business insights.

• Develop KPI dashboards and performance management frameworks aligned with organizational objectives.

• Build reporting solutions for:

  • SLA Performance Management

  • Incident Management

  • Service Request Management

  • Problem Management

  • Change Management

  • Asset & Configuration Management

  • Service Desk Operations

  • Network Operations

  • Infrastructure Operations

  • Cloud Operations

  • Customer Experience Metrics

  • Financial and P&L Reporting

• Deliver customer-facing reports for Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Business Reviews.

• Develop real-time and near real-time reporting solutions for operational decision-making.

Data Engineering, Modeling & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data models.

• Create complex DAX calculations, KPIs, measures, and business metrics.

• Develop Power Query (M) transformations and ETL workflows.

• Optimize datasets, semantic models, and report performance.

• Implement enterprise data warehousing and reporting best practices.

• Develop predictive analytics, trend analysis, and operational forecasting capabilities.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and integrity across all reporting solutions.

Data Integration Responsibilities

• Integrate and consolidate data from multiple enterprise platforms including:

Reporting Automation & Process Optimization

• Automate manual reporting processes using Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

• Develop end-to-end automated reporting and distribution workflows.

• Implement scheduled refreshes, exception monitoring, and data validation processes.

• Build self-service reporting capabilities that eliminate manual spreadsheet-driven reporting.

• Develop automated report subscriptions, alerts, and notifications.

• Create reusable reporting templates and reporting frameworks.

• Integrate Power BI with Power Automate, SharePoint, Excel, and enterprise applications.

Executive & Customer Reporting

• Build CIO-level dashboards and executive scorecards.

• Design strategic reporting frameworks for business and technology leadership.

• Create management dashboards for:

  • Service Delivery Performance

  • Resource Utilization

  • Productivity Metrics

  • Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)

  • Governance Compliance

  • Operational Risks

  • Service Improvements

  • Backlog Management

  • Ticket Volume Analysis

  • Capacity Planning

• Deliver reporting packages supporting executive reviews, governance meetings, and customer presentations.

• Provide analytical insights and recommendations that support business decisions.

Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Establish enterprise reporting standards, governance models, and dashboard design principles.

• Ensure reporting consistency across customer environments and service delivery teams.

• Conduct periodic data quality assessments and governance audits.

• Implement security standards including Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through analytics and operational intelligence.

• Participate in governance forums, account reviews, and service improvement programs.

• Maintain documentation covering data sources, reporting architecture, KPIs, calculations, and reporting standards.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline.

• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

• Experience supporting Managed Services or IT Outsourcing environments.

• Experience building executive dashboards for CIO and senior leadership teams.

• Knowledge of Azure Analytics Services, Fabric, Synapse Analytics, or Databricks.

• Experience integrating Power BI with ServiceNow and ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.

• Understanding of CMDB, Asset Management, and Configuration Management reporting.

• Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning integration, and advanced statistical reporting.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.

• Power BI Certification and Microsoft Data Analytics certifications preferred.
