About the role
As a Workplace Technology Analyst, you will make an impact by delivering front-line desktop support — both face-to-face and remote — to end users at a busy Technology Hub, keeping hardware, software, and communication tools running smoothly in a fast-paced corporate environment. You will be a valued member of the Workplace Technology / Desktop Support team and work collaboratively with Support Analysts located locally and around the globe, the Global Service Desk, and other Resolver Teams.
In this role, you will:
- Provide Level 1/2 desktop support in person and remotely, logging, tracking, and managing Interactions, Incidents, and Service Requests through to closure in partnership with the Global Service Desk and other Resolver Teams
- Install, configure, and support end-user hardware and devices, including mobile devices managed through MDM
- Coordinate with the Hardware Service Provider on hardware failures, replacement parts, and warranty repairs
- Provide hands-and-feet support for remote Resolver Teams and assist with small project/minor demand work such as floor moves, relocations, and reshuffles
- Support events and townhalls using Unified Communications tools (Webex, Microsoft Stream)
What you need to have to be considered
- Strong Level 1/2 desktop support experience, including both face-to-face and remote support
- Strong operating system and application support experience with Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Webex
- Experience supporting mobility and mobile device management (Apple iOS and Android)
- Strong communication, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good experience with Active Directory, SCCM, hardware asset management, and ITSM tools (ServiceNow desirable)
These will help you stand out
- Experience with Azure and PowerShell
- Experience with Power Query / Power Automate
- Experience supporting OS X (macOS)
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification, CompTIA A+ certification, or a tertiary qualification in Information Technology
We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. Don't hesitate to apply, even if you only meet the minimum requirements listed. Think about your transferable experiences and unique skills that make you stand out as someone who can bring new and exciting things to this role.
