About the role
As a Workplace Technology Analyst, you will make an impact by delivering front-line desktop support — both face-to-face and remote — to end users at a busy Technology Hub, keeping hardware, software, and communication tools running smoothly in a fast-paced corporate environment. You will be a valued member of the Workplace Technology / Desktop Support team and work collaboratively with Support Analysts located locally and around the globe, the Global Service Desk, and other Resolver Teams.
In this role, you will:
- Provide Level 1/2 desktop support in person and remotely, logging, tracking, and managing Interactions, Incidents, and Service Requests through to closure in partnership with the Global Service Desk and other Resolver Teams
- Install, configure, and support end-user hardware and devices, including mobile devices managed through MDM
- Coordinate with the Hardware Service Provider on hardware failures, replacement parts, and warranty repairs
- Provide hands-and-feet support for remote Resolver Teams and assist with small project/minor demand work such as floor moves, relocations, and reshuffles
- Support events and townhalls using Unified Communications tools (Webex, Microsoft Stream)
What you need to have to be considered
- Strong Level 1/2 desktop support experience, including both face-to-face and remote support
- Strong operating system and application support experience with Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Webex
- Experience supporting mobility and mobile device management (Apple iOS and Android)
- Strong communication, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good experience with Active Directory, SCCM, hardware asset management, and ITSM tools (ServiceNow desirable)
These will help you stand out
- Experience with Azure and PowerShell
- Experience with Power Query / Power Automate
- Experience supporting OS X (macOS)
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification, CompTIA A+ certification, or a tertiary qualification in Information Technology
